Bought 2x 4-packs for a 6-light setup in a master bath. I had high hopes these could replace some hot and expensive halogens. Not nearly as bright (I expected that) but good enough for the use case. In a little more than two months of ownership, I've had 3/8 fail. Amazon was good on the first return, but I'm past the return window now and don't have much hope that a replacement would last any longer. I imagine there's some better quality bulbs out there, just wish I knew where to find them. These aren't those.

💢This is the worst replacement bulb I have ever seen in my life. It is the weakest lighting and it is absolutely a poor quality made item. I highly suggest this to NOBODY. do not listen when Con artist like these companies that advertise stuff to be one way and they are completely the other. Do not spend your money on this or invest in it it will literally turned out to be something you will throw in the trash when it arrives. 💢

I got these to replace the 50W halogen bulbs in sconce lighting in our game room. We have a total of 11 bulbs that are in this type of fixture. The light these LEDs give is nearly identical to the what the halogens give, (with the covers we use, which are frosted) and just as bright. 11 bulbs @ 50W each vs 11 bulbs @ 5W each. Very happy with the purchase, which was well packaged and delivered BEFORE the expected date. YAY!

Bases are too short, wont make contact in socket. Isolsered a drop of solder on the end toextend it. It now reaches the socket base and works fine.

Weak in light color - was looking for warm white but it’s more like old low quality light from old buildings

Used to replace 40w halogen bulbs in a ceiling fan. They as bright and operate much cooler. They dim without flickering. However, the minimum brightness is more than the halogens.

I got these bulbs to replace some halogen reading lights that were very hot when in use. The LED bulbs I just received are nowhere near as bright as the 50 watt bulbs I was replacing. Also, they just flicker a bit when I turn the dimmer knob. They aren’t really dimmable.

These did not compare with a 50W halogen in practice so we are returning them.
