Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure™ - Shell We Dance?, A Translucent, Pale Pink Nail Polish, 0.5 fl oz - 14.7 ml

This is my absolute favorite, go to nail polish. It is a beautiful color and two quick coats is all it takes to really showcase the color. I have very long nails and this polish is just transparent enough for the whitish tips to show through, creating a french tipped appearance. To be clear, this polish is not thin and sheer and provides full coverage color for your nails. I have been asked many times where I get my nails done while wearing this polish, and people always seem surprised to hear it is only polish. I've tried similar colors, but this one will always be my favorite.

Who provides the product photos? On my monitor, the two I've posted are very accurate depictions of what I see - the Amazon product photo is a pale, but definite shade of pink. The one next to it shows the product as it arrived, "Shell We Dance," which is a kind of muddy off-white - on this monitor, on my phone camera, and in my hand. It's my second attempt to land a pale pink shade that resembles the product as advertised. This is frustrating!

Years ago I would get my nails done like clockwork in a salon. I've used Sally Hansen polishes in the past and I've even used this particular color, "Shell We Dance?" The name of the color I remember because it is catchy - well, this bottle is NOT the same color as the one I wore years ago. This bottle barely has any pink or soft coral in it at all. It is so muted and pale that it appears to be clear when I put on just one coat of polish. I do like Sally Hansen nailpolish so I'll keep it, but I may add a bit of pink to it down the road. I certainly will not purchase it again.

I was expecting a pinkish tinge. Thought I'd used this shade before; if so, it's totally different now. It's a glorified top coat. Nice shine, but it's a white tint, not pink. Very disappointed.

The SHELL WE DANCE color that I received is not the same shade or number that I bought in store. The color on Amazon website is the correct color, has a hint of pink. What I received does not. Also the number from what I originally bought in store is different. Label on the product I received says New Item. Maybe in order to cover themselves. Just now read a customer review indicating a totally different number.Sally Hansen doesn’t even have this product on their website that I can tell. I think perhaps they are just dumping discontinued product?
