Didn't work for me.
I needed this to interface my TV with a newly purchased soundbar. It didn't work. I also tried it between my computer and the digital input of a set of speakers. Again, nothing. I then returned the item to Amazon.

Power supply defective
The power adapter that comes in the box is defective. Fortunately I have a 5 Volts adapter at home to try and turn ON the product. It works well.
