BARVIVO Black Coasters for Drinks Absorbent Set of 8

My husband was hosting poker night and I wanted super absorbent coasters that men would find with their drinks. These are those in spades! Very handsome, pub-like look to them with the felt tops, and the cork bottoms stay put. For the price, they are a steal. No frills, good-quality, right price.

Look great, seem to be well made. Do a good job of protecting my wooden kitchen table from condensation rings, while also looking very nice…they fit well with our mid-century modern esthetic.

These are excellent and simple absorbing coasters. In my opinion, a coaster should protect the table or desk or other surface from direct contact with my beverage holder - hot or cold - - - AND also ABSORB - which also protects the surface from the condensation of a sweating cup or glass. When my drinking glass sweats onto a non-absorbent coaster, the drinking glass bottom drips on the table or desk and on me when I raise it to my lips to take a drink. These coasters are attractive AND they absorb.

Bought these to replace the disposable paperboard ones we had. Wanted something fairly thin as I have a tendency to half miss the coaster in the dark and spill my drink. These are kind of thin thus the 4 stars. Absorbent to a limit. Won’t hold up over time in high humidity and tall sweaty glasses. But neither will cardboard or most anything else. But they are perfect for most uses.

Coaster stays in place when you lift your glass. Cork side down, felt side up.

These appear to be well-made and work well. The rivets give it a bit more flair.

My old leather/vinyl coasters were driving me a little nuts because they would stick to the bottom of the glass due to condensation, and often fall off as you were bringing the drink up. These felt ones are very plain, but they do not stick to the coaster. They handle routine condensations without becoming soggy. Cork bottoms protect the cocktail table.

We are so thrilled with the quality of these coasters now that they have arrived! The colors are so vibrant and the absorbency is amazing. We are so pleased we have already sent them as a gift to our son!
