Bought this 28 cm non stick frying pan for my mother during the festive season. The non stick coating looks exceptional, the pan is made of sturdy material and has a pretty thick bottom to ensure even heat spread and consistent cooking. It also comes with a high grade stainless steel lid that can be used easily with other 28cm tawas or pans. I wanted a glass lid but unfortunately that variant was not available anywhere. We have used it to cook various curries, shallow fry chicken and made dosas and omlettes and so far nothing has stuck on it. It is easy to use and has enough space to cook meals for 3-4 people. Not compatible with induction though. Will update the review after use for a few months. As if now, it is a 4-4.5 stars out of 5.

It's Fantastic overall, but the handle is small ,less wide slippery hard whatever material which could be very confident to toss ur food,You will feel the handle will break, unlike the Prestige which has a Grippy handle.Heat Distribution is Superb,You cn actually make DoSA as well along with many other things,so better avoid Dosa Tava,We don't use it for heavy cooking for longer life all though time will tell. One more Feedback not a complaint if the pan could hv been lil deep for increased capacity given its size. Its Handle Future is not promising u must look up,given ur price

The pan itself appears to be good. It was used for two weeks before falling from a height of ~3 feet. The handle completely snapped off which surprised me. Sadly I can't find a replacement handle to purchase on Amazon, so will have to take it to a service centre to get replaced.

We also own the Hawkins 30 cm frying pan which is perfect for cooking a large amount of food. We wanted a smaller pan for omelettes or when you need to cook a smaller amount. This size pan is perfect and the matching lid is a great addition for steaming and slow simmering. The pan is sturdy and well made and I like the design with the rounded sides. Cleanup is a breeze. I really think Hawkins quality is close to what we can get abroad. Just treat it right (wash it with a soft sponge, always use non-metal utensils) and it should last a long time. Update: Unfortunately, this pan has not held up well. Despite the utmost care (hand wash with a soft sponge, using silicone cooking spoons), the pan has started to develop scratches. Its been only 9 months, so very disappointing. We are replacing it with a similar sized pan in stainless steel. Going to slowly replace all our cookware. Indian non-stick just doesn't hold up well.

Awesome excellent product, a little expensive since it is Hawkins, but no complaints for those who love to cook One thing is that you also got a stainless steel lid with it.
