Stentor 1018F Violin

Good for beginners...

I bought it for my son for Christmas gift and he loves it, good quality 👍🏻

Stentor is a good brand but the violin that was received had a manufacturing defect where one of the string was so flat and soft it could not be played on! Very disappointed.

This was a birthday gift to my daughter and unfortunately; we were disappointed, Violin received with teared and cut Strings.Kindly arrange URGENT REPLACEMENT at the earliest and confirm Quality Control ( QC ) is done and checked before disptching .

The violin has only two string and the rosin is broken and THERE IS FRICKEN NO BRIDGE PLEASER GIVE ME THE REST TWO STINGS AND SHOWN IN THE PHOTO AND THE BRIDGE

it does not keep the tune. it needs constant adjustment of the tunes.the bridge fell a few times.i do not recoment

I just received this Stentor violin , and I like the sound and playability very much .I feel that it is a very nice instrument and it should last me a long time .

I am a violin teacher. Love these Stentors. Very good quality. Can take trainable amount of abuse from a kid. Warning! These instruments need a setup. Do not try to tune it and play it if you are not a professional violinist. Take it to a pro or a teacher for the setup first. You can damage it if you don't know what you are doing. For those who are beginners... there is a little sick inside (sound post) that sometimes moves from its original positron during shipping. It must be in the right place before you tighten the strings. Otherwise the bridge can damage the upper deck and your money will be waisted. The bow needs to be rosined well first time too. Let a pro do it.

Excellent value and a well named violin and case

I am an absolute beginner & this violin didn't disappoint. It's of good quality & finish. The case is also nice. Although I'd have loved blue color more,to match the interior. The tuning took me some time (Especially G string) since it's brand new & strings are rigid. The pegs could have been better quality. But at this level I guess it's fine. The bridge came assembled. Rosin was also provided with the violin. The bow is nice,but had some metal worn-out marks on it. I liked it overall. I was sceptical about Amazon delivering the order fine to me,but they handled it well. Also kudos to the Raj musicals with whom I deal with on regular basis.
