Very heavy and excellent quality. Good size and really durable, lid fits well. Also would be excellent as a self defense weapon, no one would get up after being hit round the head by this. Only negative is that the handle does get very hot even with the silicon sleeve popped on it so you may need to handle with an oven glove on!

Heats up well, great size, love the red silicone handle. Washes up great...I'm just not used to 'Not Scrubbing' lol...and I always coat in oil afterward with a pastry brush. It's already seasoned for you, great. I've had it a while now and use it regularly....food tastes so nice. My one gripe is that at this price I would have expected a silicone handle for the other handle at the top, too. Two hands are best to lift this into the oven, etc.

Sturdy and does the job. Super value. Bit rustic but satisfactory in termsof function and the value you get. The lid is very useful.

Wanted to banish non-stick from our kitchen due to possible 'forever-chemicals'. Ten inch is the right size - big enough for most purposes and not too heavy for a one-handed lift. Silicone handle worked better than expected - no oven gloves needed to lift a pan on the hob. However. The surface is a little knobbly as its cast iron, and I could see our glass ceramic hob getting scratched. Also, the knobbliness makes cleaning the inside a challenge. So I used a sanding pad designed for metal on an oscillating sander to grind the inside and outside surfaces smooth. Then a good wash and season in the oven. It's now easy to scrape off any residues with a metal fish slice. Our one rule is no washing. After cooking, while warm, scrape the inside clean and wipe dry with absorbent paper. Then wipe sunflower oil to a thin film all round. The house here is very damp, so leaving the pan unoiled results in surface rust. If your house is drier, you may be able to store dry without rust. Treated like this it does a great job with bacon and eggs and omelettes. Havent tried it in the oven yet. Be sure the glass lid is dry before storing to avoid any surface rust. If you forget to oil it and it does rust, just oil it, scrape and wipe it to remove any rust. Just no water. It's a different experience to a non-stick aluminium pan, and more expensive, but hopefully will be the last pan I buy.

Got fed up of so called nonstick pans.i have used skillets for past 40 years. They get better as you use them. No need for plastic spatulas or delicate handling. Indestructible. Barbecues.. camp fires...and in the oven. What more could you ask

The skillet is soo well made .. It says QUALITY,FIRST CLASS .and there is no doubt in my mind when I say..it will last a life time.I have not been able to use it,my ill health has seen to that.i am sure that heat distribution etc will be as it should be.It is with a heavy heart that I have to return it.

Great and very heavy

It is a great pot but you gotta know how to use it! first off, season the pot as per manual, and don't use dish detergent to deep clean After each use! To get the non sticky effect, preheat the pot until it almost smoking, then add high temperature cooking oil, you got a non sticky pot! it works great for ppl who knows how to handle a cast iron pot. the only down side is the weight, with the 12 inches pot, i can barely hold it with one hand to get food out. Btw i am a guy who work out regularly....
