Automatic Headlights - Universal Car Automatic Headlight Sensor Control Modification System

The installation was pretty straight forward, but I am dissatisfied that the lights don't come on before it is nearly dark. I have the sensor installed on the inside of the windshield, down low, nearly behind the hood, and it still doesn't turn on until dark.The unit does work by turning on the lights when lighting is quite subdued, and doesn't seem to be bothered by approaching traffic or bright LED street lights, but will shut down when coming into our lighted garage.The on-off switch on the sensor unit is handy for entering the garage. I have mirrors on the front to help locate the car entering the door, but when the lights are on, they rather negate the help in locating the clearance between the car and the door frame.I am satisfied with the set

Mechanic says don't install.

Wiring diagrams do not make sense. It’s unknown how this would control lighting circuit. I won’t install it.

It worked well with my current card! Turned out really good
