Perfect black current hard candy. Not overwhelming flavor, but perfectly balanced a great sucking candy. I put a bag in my car and a bag on my desk will absolutely purchase again.

Excellent candy. They are very tasty & do not use any of the potentially cancer causing red dyes. I recommend them.

My family and I love these black currant hard candies! They have an excellent black currant flavor that is sweet and but not sugary. I hold a piece of the candy on my tongue and let the flavor melt down.great tasting hard canThe aftertaste is quite pleasant.

I have no idea what the other reviewers received but it must be a vastly different product than I got. First off, the “dirt” taste is just anti-caking (you can literally see the white powder in the photos). I presume you don’t want a giant solid lump of candy. It’s pretty normal on some types of candies, especially these.As for the flavor being weak? I’m not sure what’s expected. They taste definitively of black currant. They’re just as sweet as any other hard candy made in the style. The flavor is prominent, it’s not overpowering and it’s not weak either. I’m not sure if the flavor was made much stronger they’d be particularly nice tasting. Anyway I like them, taste is subjective so to each their own. But if you like black currant candies, these are good.

I am very particular about the hard candies that I purchase and these have become a new favorite Blackberry candies. They're flavorful and their texture resembles that of berries. While they are sweet, they still have a level of tartness.I don't know if I would purchase these often as they are a little price for such a small quantity. But they are good for a different kind of sweet treat.
