Sammons Light Switch Extender has unique design which allows users to slip the extension rod over any standard light switch. Only fits full-sized light switch knobs and does not stay firmly connected.
I was very disappointed with the light switch extender and would return it if I could. It is made from a hollow plastic rod with a small portion of ball-link chain that is hot-glued into a small rubber cup. The real problem is that all our light switches are fairly modern and are narrower than is required to fit the rubber cup snugly. A very light tug pulls the unit off the switch. We tried four different switches and it only fit one in the garage which has an older style full-size light switch. Unfortunately I don't need it on that switch so this is now a $15 junk drawer item.

I wanted to use this to try and reach a light switch from the side because my switch is behind a piece of furniture (tricky bathroom!) this didn't work for that but I'm sure would work for normal situations!
