Does this only work while plugged into the mains or will it work remotely like a CTek Free?

The NOCO GENIUSPRO25 needs to be plugged into an AC outlet at all times to operate.

Seems expensive over the G26000? Any added benefit to this over that?

The GENIUSPRO25 is not a direct replacement for the G26000. It has several more features. The G26000 could charge 12V batteries up to 500 Ah and 24V batteries up to 250 Ah. The GENIUSPRO25 can charge 6V and 12V batteries up to 1000 Ah and 24V batteries up to 500 Ah. The GENIUSPRO25 has added the 6V Mode, 6V AGM Mode, 6V Lithium Mode, 6V Repair Mode, 24V Lithium Mode, 24V Supply Mode, and 24V Repair Mode. The GENIUSPRO25 also added the “5A MODE” which allows you to reduce the current by 5A. The GENIUSPRO25 also has the Force Mode feature for charging batteries with voltages depleted lower than 1V (6V and 12V Modes) and 14V (24V Modes). Additionally, the GENIUSPRO25 uses new more durable materials and newer, updated technology.

Lithium Charger

Needed a charger Li batteries at short notice good power output on this and seems to work well, fan makes some noise but not excessive given small size, bought the option with the longer cable just found a long cable in the box while throwing it out as it already comes with a cable extension this is probably an unnecessary option 🤷‍♂️

Great piece of kit.

Have now for a couple of weeks and has not let me down. The 12V power supply is great for maintaining power when programming modules. Has also recovered a couple of dead batteries.

Fan noise level

The fans are rather loud consistently. If it was loud for a short time I may have not returned it. Otherwise fantastic product, well built and fast charge rate.
