I was skeptical of the quality for the price, but gave it a try. I couldn't be more delighted. The dark blue color, weave of the fabric, stretch and fit (M) are perfect and true to their size chart. Not too tight, not too loose. It will definitely be a "go-to" shirt for summer traveling, sports, and hiking. A nice surprise was the gift of wool socks! I'm so impressed I immediately ordered another in a different color.Update: I’ve worn this shirt 4 days in a row now, no washing it. …in 90 degree heat, on hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and to church! It goes against my usual habits to sweat in a shirt, hang it to dry, and put it on again, but wool really does live up to it’s reputation. I’ve worn the socks for a hike and found them super breathable and comfortable. It looks great with shorts, jeans, or a skirt. It’s definitely become my favorite.

These shirts are very comfortable with a flattering fit. I really like the sleeve length, and shape. I do not like clothes that cling or bunch up and these dont do that. They are great for hiking and biking but look nice enough to wear out to dinner too. I havent washed them yet but as long as they hold up, I have only compliments for them.

I’ve bought several of these wool shirts over the last 4+ months, both from Amazon and from the Merino.tech website, and love how cool they keep me in the summer! I can be out and about in hot weather all day and any sweat dries so quickly with these and without leaving me stinky. These are amazing to travel to with since you can rinse them and they quickly air dry. I’ve found that there are some I’ve ordered that are different textures/thickness than others, but it seems more of the newer listings are the thinner material. They’re definitely more comfortable and breathable with the thinner material but I’ve run into several that are extremely sheer and I end up returning those. I wanted light weight merino wool for the camino de Santiago pilgrimage. I ordered this one first and LOVE it so much. It's lightweight, stretchy, fits perfectly, soft comfortable fabric. It's a perfect length. I took a nap in it and realized I could sleep in it and just live in it. It's not too sheer so is perfect as outer wear. I loved it so much, I started ordering more of the same shirts in different colors.Be aware merino tech has two listing sites on amazon. One with "free" wool socks although the end price of the t-shirts ends up being about $3 more. Not bad for free socks. There are 2 styles of t-shirts - crew neck and V neck.The shirt I ordered this time is the light grey v neck - they call it silver striped although it's not really striped. It just has some lighter color threading mixed in giving it more of a slightly heathered color but really it's a silver grey color overall.I will review each of the other colors and styles separately. Just realize they are all different. This particular shirt is made in Thailand and doesn't come with free socks. I haven't received one shirt I like (different fabric - scratchy) from their free sock listing and they were all made in PRC - China.Good luck. It might be safer to order from this exact listing if you want nicer fabric and not made in PRC. Although I haven't ordered all colors so I can't be sure. I got another that wasn't as expected (ebony grey crew neck - made in PRC) and another that I love (baby pink V neck - made in Thailand).

The light pink color is lovely and the shirt was very comfortable, but my bra was clearly visible through the top. 👚

I've heard quite a bit recently about merino wool. We are traveling to Europe for a month and travel with carry on only so this seems like it will fit the bill. What I've seen thus far is true to advertising-- doesn't maintain any sweaty smell. I've worn it two weeks and it could take more. It is comfortable--not too tight nor too loose. If this works on my trip, I may buy another one.

I tend to be a hard to fit size. I don't care for long, baggy shirts. Also, I have very narrow shoulders, and a petite, curvy shape. This shirt fits quite well. It's a bit wide through the shoulder. But, that's pretty inevitable for me.I love the soft, light-weight fabric. If you consider wool "itchy", you'll be happily surprised by this shirt. The feel is lovely! I'm planning to use this shirt for travel. I'm often away for 6-8 weeks. The beauty of wool is that it's easy to hand-wash, wrinkle resistant, and has a naturally, anti-bacterial quality, which reduces odor. Very nice, and versatile t-shirt!The only thing I'd like is for it to be offered in more "warm" colors. I'd buy another one immediately if there was a second color that I'd wear!

As an avid hiker for years, I was excited to purchase this shirt. There were so many great reviews, but my experience did not match. The shirt had so much static that it would it stuck to me all over. Even after washing it in cool water and laying it flat to dry the static wouldn’t go away. It was a nice looking shirt, but did not look nice in and rode up due to the static. I now wonder if it was actually made with 100% merino wool.
