6872 Police Command Center with Prison

This was my child’s one birthday wish. It’s wonderful and they have enjoyed hours playing with it. Great detail and not too difficult to build.

Lots of pieces and it did take quite a while to build (the pieces for individual sections are scattered randomly throughout different bags so finding them was harder than it needed to be). But the detail and quality are outstanding, and it was fun assembling this with my kids. They love it! You can never go wrong with Playmobile.

The hit of Christmas! Playmobile quality and durability speaks for itself. Assembly is straightforward and a fun project. Lots of accessories included.

Shipped very quickly! Looked at multiple items similar to this but none were as large or as nice. The detail is absolutely astounding! I mean everything you expect to find in a prison you find here in this set. From assorted guns to toothpaste and toothbrush. All enclosed but all have working gates of some kind. The front gate is impressive, it slides open and closed. The cell doors open and lock. The desk inside the command center comes equipped with little computers and little phones. The booking room comes equipped with camera on tripod, fingerprinting kit, computer, desk and chair. Cells come equipped with little bed, toilet, sink, table, chair as well as little tube of toothpaste, toothbrush, little plate and mug. This set comes with a gun cabinet that holds 2 rifle type guns with little flashlights that snap on to them, 2 handguns, 2 nightsticks and 2 sets of shackles. The details are really incredible! The only downside is all of these things are extremely tiny, and while most of them snap somewhere to the set there are a handful that are loose. All of these tiny details means lots more work for mom or dad, putting this together took me 3 hours. That was following the directions step by step. They are picture directions which aren't too bad but it would have been nice and much easier if there were actual written directions to go with the pictures because some pieces were so small they looked like others. The upside is that no tools are needed, everything clips snugly together. While 3 hours is frustrating to put anything together, I find that this set was worth all of the hassle because once set up it is really awesome. The detail that the designer paid to it is clearly evident especially after putting it all together. If your looking for a cheap, quick set then this probably isn't for you. If your looking for something your child can have fun with for years to come than this is the one because it is very well made and after snapping everything together it is clear this set is extremely sturdy. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase especially after having seen some very cheap, small sets. Definitely recommended this product, kids will love it!!
