Check through the view window on the side of the repeller. When the repeller is working, there will be an orange glow inside the view window.

Q: How do I know when to replace the refills?

The blue mat should be replaced once it turns completely white. Sometimes environmental factors may cause the mat to appear white before reaching the 4-hour usage mark. In such cases, you may continue using the mat for up to 4 hours of continuous use

Q: Can I leave the repeller out in the rain?

To maintain best repeller performance, bring your repeller indoors during rain. If it does get exposed to rain, make sure it is completely dry before using gain.

Q: Can I fly with the repeller or refills?

The butane in the fuel cartridge cannot be taken on airplanes. We suggest that you bring your Thermacell repeller and mats with you, and purchase the fuel cartridges at your destination. All our rechargeable repellers can be taken on airplane.
