Is this piece bendable to fit current shape?

yes. it's thin copper tubing and easily bent to fit.

I am not sure if my copper tube is faulty or not. Is there suppose to be a hole at the end brass barrel?

Should be a solid copper tube with hole at each end for connecting to gas system. When connected no hole visible.
