Blum, Compact Blumotion 39C (New Bmn) Hinge & Plate, For 1" Overlay, Wraparound, Screw-On, 10-Pack

These are awesome hinges. Great self close feature. If installing in new cabinetry you should have no issues with the dimensions. However, if like us, you are replacing old hinges then be aware of the styling of the cabinet face attachment of this hinge. Our old hinges, on cabinet face, were flush. As in the plate was right beneath the screw head. On these, while the plate is right below the screw head, there is about 1/4" built into the 'swing' of the door which accommodates the adjustment features of the hinge. Hence, in our replacement application after installation, the two doors did not overlay 1" but only 3/4" and then when closed they overlapped each other in the center of the opening. Returned this pack and ordered 1 1/4" overlay hinges of the same style. A 'Note' to the issue of replacing vs new installation would have maybe alerted us to this, (maybe not) but this review is a 'heads up'. Additionally, screws were not included and description never mentioned them, but we assumed they were included. Maybe state in description, 'No Screws'. Finally, if we were doing new installation we would have been looking for installation instructions and those were not included either. In replacement situation that was moot.Bottom line...... Super great hinges, just be aware of dimensions if replacing into already 'hinge ready' cabinetry.

Exactly as needed. They even included extra screws which is always better when some are dropped and lost. I used kreg templates with 35 mm drill. Very easy setup.

These are better than the original hinges! They were so easy to install and adjust for a perfect fit. (The originals were odd, and I know the screws didn't line up but I'm ok with that.) My flimsy cabinet doors now feel very sturdy. The soft close feature works great. It's only been a few days. If anything changes, I'll update this post to reflect. Three boys can be tough on a home! But as of today, I'm counting the rest of the old hinges in my kitchen with plans to replace with these. P.s. don't mind my very non-Pinterest pantry cabinet in the video. Just showing the soft close for anyone curious about how well it works.

I used these to replace some obsolete Grassi hinges as well as on some new cabinets I made. For the replacements they worked great. Same hole size, make sure you get the proper offset for your installation. Grassi had a different screw pattern, so you can see the old screw holes, but not a big deal since they are on the inside of the door. A little wood filler could hide the holes. For a new install it's important to know how to set it up for proper alignment. I bought a tool especially made for installing these type of hinges with the proper offset. If you set up and drill the holes properly they work great. Overall very pleased with these. It's all about the set-up!
