This is the one that fits the XR650l it has the correct recessed holes for the bolts on the L not the R ! I stay with 14/45 for sprockets for more versatility mud and highway but I have also replaced 2nd and 5th gear with gears from the DOMINATOR. Second is a beast in the mud and fifth purrs at 75-85 mph.

rear sprocket sold to fit 96 to 2004 XR400r part JTR301.45. Does not fit
It does not fit XR400 do not buy as they state for XR400. ALL xr400 use taper bolts sprocket is machined for this. These wrong sprockets have square edge holes for different bolts only to buy at honda dealer. Please stop posting OEM CYCLE they fit xr400. This is the second time OEM CYCLE sent wrong sprockets . They know it does not fit but keep it listed . DO NOT BUY BURNED TWICE
