UPDATED REVIEW – Folks, please do not hesitate to purchase this product. I say that with a number of high-ranking factors in mind, but for two main reasons: (1) Consistent highest quality; and (2) customer service. I have been buying these cow ears from family-owned Brutus & Barnaby for about 8 years now, and we are currently serving them to our third rescued Labrador. First of all, this company's cow ears have consistently been of the highest quality on the market since I've been treating my dogs to daily cow ears. They are always thicker and larger in size than those from any other seller. Further, unlike many competitors, the product is never moldy, no discoloration of any type – yet they're not bleached. And the icing on this cake? Most notably, THERE IS ALWAYS A NICE, HUGE, LUSH, DOG-YUMMY RING OF CARTILAGE on each and every piece in the bag. This company's products are more than head-and-shoulders above the competition. Sadly, one day a hiccup came calling: When I received my most recent order, I was shocked. The overall quality of the product was fine – great, actually, just like always … with one exception: This time, the sizes of the ears in the bag were wildly inconsistent, and I was shocked and disappointed. The ears in the bag were mainly medium to small sizes -- some, a good 25%, being shockingly tiny, as in 3" ... Only about 10% were large, with the bulk of the bag being around 5-6" (which in all fairness, is the norm for most other manufacturers of this particular product). Okay, yes, I'm sure that I've become spoiled by B&B, but ... This bag was way inferior to what I have come to expect from this brand over the years. What I received was mediocre compared to what I have always received from this company in the past -- more along the lines that I expect from other brands. I was pretty ticked, but I let it slide at that time – chalking it up to, “Hey, that's life.” … However, several months later, I came here to Amazon searching for cow ears before my current supply is depleted. I took that opportunity to leave a less-than-complimentary review of this product. What I did not know is how incredibly diligent and responsive B&B is when it comes to customer service and goodwill – a level I have never been witness to in my entire 67 years. Within 24 hours of leaving that review, I was contacted – B&B reaching out to me!!! People, lemme tellyouwhat (that's a full sentence where I come from) … The representative, Kailey, was kind, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Kailey apologized for my issue. She very kindly asked that I send the product back to them (according to company policy) and offered to send a whole brand new bag in its place. However, I had waited three months before saying anything about it. I told her that the bag was nearly empty as I had been feeding the treats to my dog daily. I thought at that point, “Game over.” Not so fast – Kailey wasn't done yet! She replied, “We see, so in that case we can offer you a 50% refund to make up for this or we can send out another bag of cow ears to replace the 25% of the ears that were too small. Please let us know which works best for you.” Now I ask you: HOW EXCELLENT IS THAT??? HOW MANY COMPANIES ARE THIS ACCOMMODATING? Well, not very many, I can assure you. I am extremely grateful for this wonderful company, and highly respectful of their obviously lofty level of integrity. I probably don't need to say it, but clearly Brutus & Barnaby has more than earned This Customer's business – as well as my undying loyalty – for the lifetime of my beloved dogs. THANK YOU, BRUTUS & BARNABY !!! And you can just betcher sweet bippie that I will be sharing this outstanding experience with all my friends and acquaintances.

We've been ordering these cow ears for quite some time now and our dogs love them. They are very large, crunchy but not brittle and they last a long time. Our dogs are large GSP's and they go through bones like crazy. The cow ears are a nice change and they really enjoy them.

Our Boxer gets one every evening. He loves them. They don't smell or make a mess (any more than a boxer would make). The sizes can sometimes vary but are pretty consistent. Helps keep his teeth sparkling white.

Our dog loves these. When she was smaller we got her the slivers, and now we get her the bigger ones. They hold her attention and it sounds so satisfying when she bites into them! And I love that they don't make a mess like a lot of other chews. Highly recommend.

When I ordered these I couldn't read where they originated. I typically don't buy dog treats from Asia. These are from the 'Himalayas'. So Asia. They are the perfect size for my small dogs. They don't have an objectionable odor They seem fresh and well prepared. This was my first time giving them cow ears. They took them but are far more interested in other treats. Although I doubt that's the fault of the treat. I doubt I purchase these again simply because my dogs don't seem to prefer them.

These are the full ear. Takes my dog longer to chew than the partial ears that are usually sold.
