Philadelphia Candies Milk Chocolate Bar, 3.5-Ounce Package

I ordered this along with Green & Black's to compare side-by-side. I strongly prefer Green & Black's. This particular white chocolate lacks flavor, is too sweet, and has a bitter aftertaste. It tastes almost as if they did not use enough vanilla and milk powder (or not the right kind of milk powder). For some reason it tastes like they used confectioners sugar. The Green & Black's is more of an off white with specs of what is presumably real vanilla bean.I realize taste is subjective which is why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 but I imagine most people would not really enjoy this (at least comparatively). I also ordered some white chocolate bars from Godiva, as well as Ethel M's, and will update the review to say which I prefer most...

I hate to write a bad review, but I wouldn’t want anyone to make the same mistake I did in ordering this product. Mine came having completely melted and then rehardened. It had I weird powdery texture on the outside (maybe from the melting?) and was completely unusable.

Ordered the milk chocolate, arrived only 4 days later from across the country. Free express shipping. Packed with a cooling pack and aluminum wrapping; one tiny chocolate bar came in a box that could fit a hammer. Withstood our 90 degree weather and arrived cool. I'm convinced that they're losing money for individual orders because of the great shipping.Flavor is good, not cheap and rubbery like other milk chocolates. Light, not very rich. Bar doesn't have squares like the picture shows, it's a row of rectangles. I could eat two (about 1/3rd of the bar) before needing a break from the sugar. Not as good as others like Lindt in my opinion, but that's up to personal taste. Definitely worth a try. For a couple bucks and good packaging, I highly recommend—especially if you don't feel like going to the store or want to try out more brands. Recommend ordering more than 1 bar per package, just to help the seller out; again, I'm convinced they're losing money on single bar orders.

I ordered and received the Philadelphia White Chocolate bar. It came from Phili in good packaging. The bar was fresh, smooth, and tasted like I remember. As a child I ate a lot of white chocolate. Flavor is mild and not too sweet. I'd recommend this brand. I usually eat dark chocolate so this was a nice change.

Not only did part of the chocolate suffer from "chocolate bloom"- a white powdery film (based on what I read), but the remainder had nearly no flavor at all. It was unfortunately the worst white chocolate I've ever eaten. Too bad. I really wanted it.

First, taste is subjective, let's get that out the way.I have this thing for white chocolate. I still remember the White Chocolate Almond that Hershey made about 10 years back... YUMMMY.So I looked around online and decided to give this a try. Well, a bit of disappointment. To be clear, I wouldn't say the taste is bad, just not all that great. There's a bit of nutty aftertaste even though there's no nuts in the bar and it lacks that creamy taste that I look for. Well, the search shall continues.

Waxy and flavorless, wouldn’t melt correctly. Same day I had Swiss and German white chocolate delivered , couldn’t compare to either one. After 3 people sampled it, it went into the trash, it compared to low quality cooking white chocolate, nasty.

I love this product but may not be able to order it in the summertime. It gets so hot here in the metroplex that it would be a soggy melty mess if it isn't cooled. Otherwise, I do not eat chocolate but love white "chocolate" and am so happy to have found Philadelphia White Chocolate. Have recommended to several members of family and to friends.
