AORITA water filter system is made in the USA and is gold certified by the Water Quality Certificate for our jug and filters. It purified tap water an/or pure water to antioxidant alkaline drinking water. Water is filtered as followed: 1. Layers of stone and sand (Remove the heavy metals and enrich calcium and magnesium) 2. Layer of nutshell (Pre-filter for small particles) 3. Layer of active carbon bed (Take out the chlorine) 4. Layer of Ion exchange resin (Takes out the harmful heavy metals, such as lead, copper, and cadmium) 5. Layer of Magnesium and Calcium balls (Release important ions into the water to enrich the mineral content and alkalinity respectively) 6. Layer of antioxidant balls (Decreases the oxygen reduction potential level, making the water antioxidant and its water molecules smaller for better absorbing) 7. Layer of filtration (Takes out smallest particles that might have escaped in the previous steps to secure a clean, clear, and crisp filtered water in the pitcher) NOTE: For the best result, each AORITA water filter cartridge life span is 40 gallons or approximately 2 months of constant usage. It is designed to prevent water leakage into the filtered water basin and to fit universally on most off the shelf water pitchers.
