George's Aloe Vera Supplement Softgel, 64 Fluid Ounce, 100% Always Active Aloe Vera Liquid

I have been using this product since the 1980s. It is consistent and great product. It stops heartburn. It has stopped my stomach cramps in a few minutes. I also use it to help the tissue in my mouth heal after dental work. I have applied it to burns and bug bites with success at stopping the irritation. I have meant the owner. One time I went to his house and he spent time with me. He is a great person.

Aloe vera juice is great for digestion and it helps lessen the severity of my sensitivity to gluten. But the thing that sets George's apart from other brands that I have tried is that it is tasteless. It's just like drinking water. Aloe juice has a pretty strong flavor that I don't particularly care for, but George's aloe vera juice removes that objectionable taste. I really wondered if it wasn't simply water, but I have found when I fail to drink it for several days that my digestive system goes off kilter. I am happy that it works well and is easy to take.

This is the perfect aloe. My naturopath recommended it several years ago to calm my Barrett's Esophagus, and I had never been a fan of aloe for two specific reasons--the taste and the side effects.But George's is very different. I LOVE this stuff. I bought it after I had several unfortunate bouts with kidney stones. I read somewhere that aloe vera juice could help with kidney stones, and I was desperate to try anything that might work at the time! If you told me to stand on my head and sing out loud to end the kidney stones I would have! I say this because I am not one to easily believe in homeopathic treatments or non-FDA approved supplements.I can't speak to the scientific efficacy of the product or if it truly treats/cures kidney stones. What I can say is that anecdotally, I have not had a single kidney stone since beginning to drink this stuff. That could be coincidence, but I'll take it!I also had occasional trouble with GERD and once had a stomach ulcer. When I drink this stuff I seem to have no issues with acid reflux at all. It's not the kind of thing you can take after you feel the reflux to treat it...but if you start a regiment of this every day, it will keep the acid from ever being a problem. In other words, it's preventative and I wouldn't buy it expecting anything else.Finally, I read a review that claimed this aloe vera juice was nothing more than water and I would like to address this. I can understand why someone might think that, because it tastes just like water. There is no weird after taste or no bitter taste whatsoever. So I can understand why someone might wonder if it is simply water...however, I can verify that it is definitely not water. It has a lower freezing point than water. I like to put the bottle of aloe vera in the very back of my fridge were it is coldest. If I put water bottles in this spot of my fridge, the water begins to freeze, however this aloe vera never freezes but gets nice and cold, just the way I like it :)
