I should be but I'm not sure it will hang the way you want it to hang.

Not sure exactly what you mean... It's used mainly for stringing beads, with crimps on the ends - you wouldn't knot this like thread as it's very sturdy, with 49 ultra-fine strands of steel running through it. It's a light gauge that can be used with most seed beads up to pretty heavy metal or gemstone beads, and it's very supple & flexible. But you can't really use it as thread for sewing or embroidery, no.

Q: Ebay and fire mountain list beadalong craft wire as "gold plated" you list the same products as gold color ???? confusing

I have not seen any Beadalon wire listed as being gold plated and if they are I'm sure the price would be much higher than their other wires. Ebay sellers will sometimes imply something misleading.
