A lot of fun.
The 11 yr old put the rocket together and followed all the directions for setting it off without an having to have an adult's help. Once he got it working he put on a nice display for the adults. A good thing about it is that once the supplies that come with the rocket are used up the rocket will work with baking soda and white vinegar which I buy in bulk. The rocket shoots up fairly high.

Would buy again
The kids loved it. Takes a while to put together. Got 3 launches with the supplies that was provided. Can't do a countdown though since it launches at its own pace.

Fly your won rocket!
I loved this! It is a little rocket where you can cleverly mix the "volcano science experince" mix and make it fly up high! The kid loves it, and it is so much fun! Get this along with the baby books on rocket science, and viola! This is going to be my go-to gift for the 5year old group for a bit.

should be two sets of instructions
The instructions for launch were somewhat ambiguous, assembly instructions should be seperate, launch instructions need clarity, my grandson thought the compounds were to be mixed in the rocket, then the locking cap placed on, how does the cap unlock, is it unlocked by hand, which would place you in the immediate vicinity should the rocket launch, or does pressure from the compounds mixing make the launch happen. we were not able to get it to launch.

The kids loved it!
Had to keep the 7 y.o. and 3 y.o. entertained during Mother's Day so grandma wasn't overwhelmed - this kept them busy and they had a great time putting it together!
