It worked! Finally!!
On week 2!! The indented part in the middle of the pillow is a lightly padded cloth linning. The back of the head nestles in this intended part. And the neck is supported in its natural curve. Whilst you side sleep the 4 corners are puffy enough to fit in the curve between the shoulder and neck gap fully supporting the side position. Took me 4 nights to get adjusted to this. This is my 8th year of suffering from cervical disc herniations. I've lost count of how many pillows I've actually tried. This is by far the best I've come across. Ordering the 2nd one as backup right now. Goodluck to you all out there, wish you happy sleeps and healthy spines.

Not for everybody. After couple of months of usage I wouldn't say I'm happy.
