As soon as I put this on our refrigerator and latched it even without a combination set it was worth the money. We have a little guy that loves to read the refrigerator and climb up the shelves to get what he wants and head to keep him out for his own safety. This was easily installed with the adhesive backing and we put it up high on the fridge so it couldn't be reached. No need to set a combination this time and it just unclicks when you need access. A good solution to a minor problem and the price was right.

This was great to lock our pop&drinks fridge in our family movie room to keep kids out …. Until one of them decided to cut it! Warning it’s easy to cut if someone is determined enough to get into whatever it is that’s locked up. Worked great before that and loved it!

I ordered two locks. Once receiving it we read the manual to verify we were activating the locks correctly. We cleaned the fridge surface and attached the locks. We set the code and tried to open the fridge the new lock code and it didn't work. We tried multiple times with the same lock combination with no luck. We figured it did not work so we decided we would not try to set a code with the second lock. An hour later my toddler son went to open the fridge. He yanked hard at the fridge door and the lock went flying off. My husband had to go buy stronger adhesive to stick it back on. The next day I went to open the fridge to get breakfast started and both locks would not open. We tried to use the original lock code for the second one and the new code we tried to set for the new one with no luck. We ended up having to cut both the locks off. So now we have part of the straps glued to the side of our fridge.

I really liked this when I first got it. Easy to install and worked great. However, after a period of time, it would not "read" the combination and I could not get it open. I had to cut it off of the cupboard I was using it on. Still not sure how to get it completely off. Haven't used the second one yet and I am not sure I will.

I bought these because my kids would eat us out of all the stuff Id just get at the grocery store or just waste the food by throwing it. I was able to secure our fridge and another cabinet and they have yet to be able to break it or pull it off. Now its easy to monitor what they are getting and have it locked for times they may not be completely supervised.

These locks are great to keep children out of refrigerator. But I used them for a adult with dementia, that jerked on the door repeatedly and the combination wouldn't open them then. I had to cut the straps and made them useless.

The buckle and lock combo seem built well and held tight. However, one of my kids was able to pull hard enough for it to come off within a day or two. I bought it to keep kids from wasting food but I’ll have to buy new adhesive or come up with something else. I’m especially tired of cleaning raw eggs off my kitchen floor.
