Go-Long Gaiters Trail Running Shoe Gaiters for Running, Hiking, or Long Distance Backpacking

I was skeptical that the Velcro would stick to my trail runner, but it is super sticky and stuck very well. Gaitors do what the are designed to do.

I did an ultramarathon on a finely crushed limestone trail and in the 17.5 hours that I was running not one single rock got in my shoes! My running buddies both had other gaiters on but theirs kept letting rocks in somehow. I have run this same course before (shorter distances) without gaiters and had to stop regularly to dump rocks out of my shoes which gets very hard to do hours into a long run with no where to sit down. These were definitely worth every penny!

I wore these for 2 12 hour endurance races and they were great! When you’re out running on trails for 12 hours you don’t want rocks/dirt in your shoes and they did the job!

Original review: Wore these pairs of gaiters at most five times, and the hook on the front of the gaiter fell off. I've have several pairs of Dirty Girl gaiters (which is an almost identical design) that have lasted years of trail running use. *** Seller sent a new pair, will update as far as durability after I have used these a few times ***

These are nice. Light and soft, good color, however I did make an adjustment so that the front of the shoe had better coverage. I unstiched the hook that was positioned at the top of the gaitor and moved it up on the material so that the gaiters covered more of the shoe. Now they are awesome and cover all of the lace area, eliminating any pebbles or dirt from getting into my shoe when I'm running.

They don't cover the side of the shoe so rocks and sand still get in. The velcro on the back did not stay attached o my Asics Trabuco Max for more than 3 mi. Save you $4 and skip these.

I bought these before my Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike in the hopes of keeping the super fine sand and rocks out of my shoe. These worked perfect! My Altras already have the velcro on the back, so I didn't need to add the stuff provided. I also did what some others suggested and reinforced the front clip with some added stitches, and had zero problems. They held up great!

These keep the sand and small rocks out of my shoes. I do wish o could find them in lighter colors. I know they get dirty, but black is hiding the ticks.
