So I blame myself for not seeing the description that it was a skinny tie. I always wanted a tie with this material and I really liked the pattern (looks like the photo). That being said, at least initially, it sheds. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but I have tried to tie this tie and it looks laughably horrible. To me it’s because the tie is skinny (I’m also 6 foot 260lbs) and the material is just to thick for me to tie it to where it looks at all presentable. I don’t know how guys tie ties with this material, but they somehow manage. I went as short as possible on one side to get the narrowest part to start to tie it, kept the tie taut while tying and it still looked so thick and messy at the end. YMMV

My son loves his tie. It goes well with his tweed vest and he looks very handsome in it.

Nobody is going to think it's a $75 tie, but it ain't junk. It's presentable, decent quality, and the pattern is beautiful.

It's a nice woolen plaid tie. The colors are earthy and muted. It's fairly skinny in design. However, it works well with tweeds.

This tie looks and feels more beautiful and classy in person. Got it today, tied it up with my after-work suit (just got home) and I have to say that I really like it! It's a nice wool tie, a little heavy but not overly-so. Would go really nice with a tweed suit or cardigan imo.
