One of my new favorite companies! I am absolutely in love with these eyshadows. I chose the bold set because the soft and sultry was out of stock at the time. The rusty colors are a bit more fall toned than I like to be, though they do have a nice pop of color when I want to try it. I love the neutral side colors! So smooth and finely milled! so blendable and it stays on! Better than coastal scents, and I've only ever had one mac palette, but I feel it is comparable. I usually know how to make a dollar store palette look like it's high quality, but this stuff...I'm going to have to get more colors. I follow Dress Your Truth by Carol Tuttle, and I am a type 4, so I look for neutral pure hues and icy shimmers to coordinate my black white and red, and primary colored outfits and skin tone. So the warm tones are a bit out of that, but I can make them work when I feel like my secondary 3 (if that doesn't make sense, you'll have to look up her website and take the quiz or get her book! Totally eye opening and revealing about how our energy profile is reflected in our looks and posture!) Millani, if you could ever get some pure hues, a nice navy and neutral ones I will get it.

I love Milani makeup so I was excited when I came across this palette on amazon, the colours are absolutely gorgeous and are very pigmented❤️

This palette is a collection of twelve conservative browns from light to dark. There are eight matte shades and four metallics. It's a very versatile palette. The mattes are great for weekday looks. The metallics let you create a more dramatic look for evening. I especially like the six lighter colors: there are two warm tans and a light and a darker taupe. Plus a shimmery and a matte highlighters. The darker metallics include a warm brown, a cool brown and a deeper brown. There's not much difference in the three darkest matte shades. The shadows are well pigmented and apply smoothly. For daytime wear, they're easy to apply sheer. They blend well too. The darkest shades are useful as eyeliners. I always use eye shadow primer as a base layer. It helps the shadows last longer and helps prevent fallout. This Milani palette is one of the best drug store palettes I've found. I own a Tarte In Bloom palette. The Milani Soft and Sultry is similar, but it has the two lovely taupe shades, which are not part of the Tarte palette..
