easy to operate
This light is beyond all expectations for every day carry. Its bright as hell, easy to operate, perfect size and weight, water and shock resistance, and throws light ridiculously far. Put a decent 18650 battery in this and it lasts over a month before recharging (take it I use this light literally every day). If you're looking for an EDC light or self defense/tactical light this is the way to go. The only bad thing, and I've seen this on a few of my friends lights, is that the button head piece goes bad when getting to the different modes. The button doesn't always work the best when switching from turbo mode to level select mode. Eagletac sent out a new piece no questions asked in like a week and it works fine. Note: I've never had this issue effect the turbo mode which is what I would use in a tectical or defensive situation. All in all absolutely great light!

Best Little Light I've Ever Owned
I was looking for something to replace my old EDC light. I didn't necessarily want something brighter just something comparable to that light. Well let me say this light is incredible just by brightness alone, its way brighter than my old light and only about a quarter inch longer. I haven't killed a set of batteries yet but I've only had the light for a week. This is almost a flawless light I say almost because there are a few improvements to the light I would like such as I don't use the lanyard ring but removing it makes it look stupid only if there was something to fill that gap. Next is the belt holster I think it sits to high on the belt causing a very minor discomfort sometimes but its not that big of a deal. Lastly I think this light has too many modes I would like a low medium high and strobe or beacon but this has 2 strobe modes, 2 sos modes and 2 beacon modes that I don't find overly useful. However I would buy this light again even though it isn't perfect.

Absolutely fantastic flashlight. I carry mine everywhere I go and it's come in handy so many times. The light is blindingly bright. The modes are easy to use, and the battery life has exceeded my expectations. I also use it as a bike light with a small strap on the front of my bike that I purchased separately and it's been great.

Amazing little light.
I have purchased 2 of these and have been impressed both times. I lost one and had to get another. Having that much light in such a small package is invaluable. It will get pretty warm in highest setting. I liked using the pocket clip a lot but the end sticks out a good amount allowing it to snag and get bent up. It's not real bad but I think that is an area that can be improved on. Nothing that would a deal breaker I dont believe. The only issue that I had to deal with was the contact from the battery to board would get dirty. Maybe some fine metal from threads (not sure though). It would cause light to flicker or change modes depending on how you had it. Wiping contact point would usually solve issue. I ran some high output 134 batteries in it and may have caused a little spot on the point as well. Over all, love having the light.

Arrived defective. 4 out of 5 were bad.
Over the last 5 years I’ve bought more than 30 of these flashlights for my company as well as for gifts. They've been absolutely great. I really haven’t had any problems with them. Until recently.Since September 2019, I’ve purchased another 5. Out of the 5, 4 arrived defective. They don’t dim. I've returned 2 so far, One is past the 30 day return period Amazon gives me. I will be returning this latest purchase as well. Not sure what is happening with Eagtac's quality control as of late, but I’d say this is the end of my purchasing their companies products. Too bad, Eagtac had a really good run.

Good light with two 123 batteries, but not with an 18650 battery.
Decent flashlight. The controls are understandable. Very bright. During our last power outage here in Georgia it served its purpose very well. This light works great with two 123 batteries in the little holder that comes with it, but is unusable with a full-sized 18650 battery. For some reason with the 18650 battery the switch doesn't work properly. Simply screwing the end-cap back on turns the light on and the switch is ignored. I did find that if I didn't fully screw the cap back on it would find a sweet spot, but still came on "by itself" with movement. This I consider pretty dangerous considering the heat of the light. I've simply stayed with the two 123 batteries and have relegated this to a household emergency light - no longer my EDC.I would have given this a two star for the battery reason, but since it does work fine with the two 123 batteries it's acceptable.

Nice light
I needed another flashlight that takes 18650 batteries. This one is very nice and a good price.A couple of minor points -It came with plastic inserts for CR123 batteries, which was good, but I'm sure I won't be able to find them later or remember what they were for (I put them back in the box and put it in a safe place...)The clip is rather large, and does not appear to be detachable. The clips on the titanium lights seem to have small screws but those lights cost a lot more.I bought two of these and keep them in the cars for the most part as they are a bit large for my pockets especially with the clip. The holster is nice, but it has a snap closure and it too is rather large. I would have preferred a velcro closure, FWIW.
