This comes out of ground with a very light, natural sparkle as carbon dioxide rises through the deepest parts of the extinct volcano Roccamonfina in Campania, near Caserta. This mineral water is the real deal. It's on the expensive side, but I enjoy it as an occasional treat. It has a wonderful mouthfeel, soft, smooth minerality, and tiny little bubbles that are SO much more enjoyable than in so many other waters. I've never received a damaged shipment nor a broken bottle - they have always been intact, packed with care (and LOTS of bubble wrap). Be aware that the dates might be in European format or in US format (the label will specify which). I saw a picture posted as part of another review where it seemed like the reviewer must not have noticed the DD/MM/YYY format printed above the date stamp.

Love Ferrarelle Sparkling Water! It has 7 different minerals and natural CO2. No artificial ingredients added. The amount of CO2 is perfect. Not like San Pellegrino or other brands where you feel like burping and it’s hard to swallow because it’s full of CO2. Will only drink Ferrarelle from now on!

This is the best sparkling spring water ever. I love the glass bottles as there is no question of leaching plastic into the water, and the amber color keeps the minerals in the water without leaching out. I just wish it was cheaper. I miss read the size and thought it was a liter of water rather than 12 ounce bottles. So it’s way overpriced.
