Good product
These things work like a charm! I caught 3 bass in 45 mins walking along a pond in west palm, FL.They are easy enough to put on a hook. However, some caution needs to be taken not to squish the eyes off while putting on the hook. Other than that, strongly recommend.

I was wrong...
As any fisherman knows, timing is key. The fish change, daily... HOURLY! I was not fishing this bait the correct way, with the right set up and I got nothing. Skip to this year, I learned a lot and hit the prespawn hard and the bass hit back harder. I got a medium action rod with 8lbs mono leader and nose hooked this bait on a drop shot rig I tied up with a 1/0 hook. Everyone that I talk to around my lake starts off with "Hey you're that guy catchin all those Bass". I dont always use this bait or drop shot rig, its timing. There is a reason real fishermen have boxes of lures, you just cant have enough. This will catch all sorts of fish, Crappie, Bluegill, Bass, Walleye, Perch... this is just my experience and the fish that are in my private Ohio lake.I think these lures are well made. Each lasting me many catches. Can be nose hooked, or on a jig or bait hook. I did see a guy say the foil inside will get in the way, just move the hook over a sliver dude and it'll be alright. I have literally pulled Crappie from the water and on my kayak without ever hooking it. The aggressive 9" Crappie just didn't let go of the bait when it came out of the water. Great action. Try that drop shot, finesse it. Real gentle... but fish it every kind of way to present it differently for different fish. They may want to chase it, may be an instinct strike... you dont know what will spur a strike so keep trying different techniques of retrieval. Dont exclude letting it just sit there with a slight twitch every few seconds.

Not a bad buy
Build quality is good, wish it was a bit tougher in the area where the hook would be due to it tearing after a few casts. Functions as it should Swims no different from a real fish

These swimbaits are tough! Still using the first one, looking for fish #6... great action. Will buy again.

good lure , but
Bought these lure to striper fish. They are very effective .Caught several bass with them .The only thing is these lures are too fragile , after a bite , lure start to deuterate came off the hook and had to be replaced. The lure is over a dollar a piece . I hope they would be made at higher quality material

Big bass slayer
These are where it's at!!! I use them as jig trailers and monster bass love them. Only complaint I have is, they are two pieces glued together and then just some silver foil in the rattle/hook pouch. After 4-5 good strikes they start falling apart and these are expensive for how many you actually get, $1ea. But yes I would buy them again because of how great of trailers they make for large bass over 8lbs.
