Deeelicious!!!
Peppadew Mild Whole Sweet Picante Peppers are so delicious and they’re excellent quality. I purchased them to replicate Trader Joe’s Sweet Picante Peppers that are stuffed with cream cheese. TJ’s peppers are delicious but packed in oil and that gets messy. These are packed in water, sugar, and vinegar. Added bonus, I’ve been trying to replicate a salad dressing used in a green restaurant for years and haven’t been able to get it right. The Peppadew packing liquid, mixed with a tiny bit of olive oil, is perfect for a salad or dish of sliced cucumbers. Second bonus is that these are the perfect pepper to use for homemade pimento cheese. I will say that one of the six jars had popped it’s seal - no surprise the way these boxes get thrown around in shipment - but the jars were individually wrapped so well that none of the leaking liquid got on the remaining five jars and, after a quick call to customer service, Amazon made it right.

Great value, great taste, will make you look good & your stupid sister will be jealous
The packaging is very good, meaning all of the jars arrive unopened & unbroken. The peppers themselves are quite tasty, and don’t show signs of poor canning/jarring (are still “fresh” meaning they hold their shape, still have their crunch, and have been properly cored with no rinds or stems to watch out for). There are plenty of peppers per jar, too, so you get your money’s worth in that respect as well. They keep well, so I would recommend buying in bulk if you have the money/space since you’ll save money in the long run on shipping & individual jar cost. We recently had some family over & I served these with a garlic, salt, & olive oil cream cheese mix that I had whipped up, and it was so easy. Instead of having to obtain & core a bunch of peppers myself, I just pulled these guys out of the jar & set them on a paper towel to drain any retained pickling juice while I mixed up the cream cheese really quickly, then just used a ziplock bag with a hole cut in the corner to squeeze the mix into each pepper. All told, took about 15-20 minutes to make an entire plate. If I had started from scratch with fresh peppers, this would’ve take at least twice as long, if not more. Our family raved about the peppers, & I got to look like some sort of fancy cook chef person without really putting in any true effort at all. I mean, seriously, it was EASY. And the fact that these peppers are so nice in the jar made it look like I had started with fresh peppers rather than pulling them out of a container (and yes, I did tell them how I made them, I didn’t fake it) . My father left with a fresh jar that I gave him, & he didn’t even eat the potato salad my sister made, even though she said she made it especially for him (which was stupid, b/c he doesn’t even like potato salad, and I told her that when she said what she was bringing, but she never listens, so whatever). And he ALWAYS likes to talk about what a good cook my sister is, so I was working pretty hard on not smiling too much in front of her about that, let me tell you. Anyway, these are a great buy, especially if you have a stupid sister who always likes to try to show you up at family dinners. Or a stupid brother.

Jar leaked and seal broken on another.
One jar leaked all liquid and another had a broken seal.

Perfect! Except two lost their seal in shipment and were unable to be used.
The only issue was the lids on two of the six bottles had lost their seal and leaked. I would have given 5 stars otherwise. They were packed well and tasted great. I will buy these again but wish the seller would replace the two that were defective.

Adds a spark to many things
So glad I discovered Peppadew Peppers. I cut them up and add them to sandwiches and scrambled eggs. They add a lot of flavor and make the rest of my cooking edible. The only issue is that I eat them over time and a couple of the jars opened slightly and I didn't know it, so by the time I got to them, they had gotten air in them and spoiled. So, inspect all jar lids for a secure seal on arrival and don't wait until you eat them.

Peppadew peppers
My husband loves these little peppers. They are difficult to find locally. The quality and value are great. They are always fresh. These are well packaged and we have never had a broken jar (we did have one with a broken seal on the lid one time, but the glass jars have never been broken).

Good quality
I've purchased these for several years. They taste great and are a nice addition to lots of dishes. I haven't had any problems with broken jars or unsealed jars except for the last purchase (Nov '23): two of the seals had popped. Nothing else appeared wrong, so I have been using them. But normally they arrive in great shape and they keep a long time.
