Wig didn't look like picture. Was disappointed but had to go with it. Can't comb wig. Even with my wig accessories, wig kept sliding to one side

My experience with this wig has taught me that sometimes it is better to "try before you buy," because this wig is not like the one pictured on the package. I received this wig about a week before Halloween. I had tried all of the local Halloween stores, looking for a good Medusa wig, but had no luck there. So, I knew I was taking a chance buying a non-returnable wig online that would work with my costume. However, I did trust the costume company that the wig comes from to show the right wig on the packaging.This wig has about ten dreadlocks in total, and when you wear the wig, the dreadlocks are all on the crown of the head. The rest of the wig is a standard, long, curly red wig, and not the cool snaky looking dreadlocks that are in the picture. I made the best of things and back-combed the rest of the wig, (and got several compliments on it!), so it turned out all right. Even so, if I could turn back time, I would have made my own dreadlocks and sewn them into the wig to make it better.Anyone considering buying this wig should find it in a store first and try it on. Hopefully others will read this review, and know what they are getting with this wig--before they buy.

Only a few dreads pictured as all dread. Maybe about 8 the rest is long curls. I wanted what was in pic.

So disappointed when it arrived because it was basically orange and not all dreadlocks. It had these squirrely curls at the bottom and zero volume on the top. The only reason I rated it 3 stars is because I was able to dye and manipulate it into something beautiful (wish I could post a photo). If you want/need a real medusa wig and don't want to put work into it, look elsewhere.

Hair was loosly done...hardly any dredds.

It was a great messy looking wig that I tied rubber snakes into for Halloween. It itched like crazy, but all wigs itch . It is much thicker than most costume wigs -especially at the price. Still looks like a costume wig. (extra shiny and impossible to comb) but there were enough dreadlocks for me . I saw other comments complaining about this. the entire top layer of hair is separated into about 10 dreadlocks and tied back . It looks even cooler untied . But alas. Itchy AF.

As many of the reviews state this picture does not at all represent the wig that you receive. If you are looking for an auburn or red hued wig with some (approx. 3-4) dread like curls then this is the wig for you if not then get another wig. This will work well if you are going to be medusa and have snakes or a head piece of some sort to put on your head or through the hair.

For Halloween Medusa costume. Wanted to look more like snakes and it was too curly it wasn't like dreadlocks like the photo showed.

A good wig, but a lot frizzier at mid-length than the photo. I would have preferred more of the coils.

Not a bad wig . Good price and a lot of volume . The wig was a lot glossier than I anticipated but I intended to adapt the wig anyway to a headpiece I made . It will get a lot of wear . I was impressed at how little it shed whilst wearing and styling it .A lot of wig for your money .

Not sure how I missed the reviews before I bought this, but they are right. The wig is not as pictured, it has a few dreads on top (in my case, pulled back into a top ponytail) and the rest is a curly tangled mess that looks like a perm went bad. The only thing accurate in the picture is the colour. Too late to send it back so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it, but if you're reading this, don't buy it.
