Honestly, it’s witchcraft in a tube.One coat and boom—my lashes went from “meh” to “who is she?” in under 10 seconds. Two coats? I looked like I’d just come back from getting extensions done by a lash technician with a halo.The brush is pure genius—like it was designed by someone who’s poked themselves in the eye one too many times and finally snapped. It grabs every single lash, no clumps, no drama, just beautiful, fluttery goodness.It stays put through wind, tears, sweaty gym sessions (don’t ask), and even a full-on ugly cry watching sad dog videos. Doesn’t flake. Doesn’t smudge. Doesn’t betray me like every other mascara before it.If you’re on the fence—hop off, run to the checkout, and treat your lashes to the respect they deserve.

I have very bad hooded eyes and thin small eyelashes that are always flat/ straight. When I use mascara I always end up with a black mess on my eyelid from my lashes being pushed down by my hooded eye. I have tried many brands of mascara but nothing was wow amazing,So I gave up wearing mascara,I came across this mascara and gave it a go, I am super pleased to say. WOW AMAZING 😮 I applied one coat and it instantly looked like false lashes, they was long curled and lifted. I have worn this all day to test for transfer onto eye lid, and nothing. After 6 hours my lashes still look exactly the same. I am so pleased with this product that I had to show a photo review of 6hrs wear. I can only imagine how fantastic this mascara would look on normal lashes that have no problems. You will not be disappointed.

The mascara is quite good, but I found that the brush made it clump. Swapped the wand and it is perfect now

I have never aspired to wearing false lashes, but I find that most mascaras lack in impact on my lashes. I have to then apply several layers just to get to a point where I am 'happy' with coverage.Not so with this product. I first saw an advert and thought perhaps this was worth a try. I reassured myself I would be able to apply such a thin layer that they wouldn't look ugly or gloopy following application, as I expected them to.Well, the effect has been transformative. This product gives great coverage to the lashes, even in one application, and although I use two, just to be sure they are noticeable, it is not gloopy, it doesn't clog, and it goes on very evenly. In fact, it puts other expensive brands to shame; they really under-perform in comparison, in my experience...and I had been disappointed by what was available for some years.I can't recommend this mascara highly enough. I do have to buy a new one every five to six weeks, as expected, but it also runs out in a reasonable way, rather than clogging up the brush. I also should point out that the brush is very effective and efficient, being one of the larger types, with a slight dip in the centre - the kind I have always preferred for good coverage and ease of application to ALL lashes, even the ones in the inner corners of the eye.The mascara is not expensive, it is very effective, and you can apply as many layers as you like without it doing anything other than enhancing your lashes. Added to which, it washes off quite easily with soap and water!Well done, Maybelline! I never thought you would outdo the high-end manufacturers, but you have...and I can't recommend this product highly enough.

This is an ok mascara but wouldn’t buy again. It goes on quite well and is buildable. However, it isn’t very thick and left my lashes looking a bit sparse. It is a good price for a mascara but there are plenty of others at that price that I would prefer so for that reason I wouldn’t recommend.

Seriously, just buy this. I've tried tonnes of mascaras over many years on the search for the perfect one, from ones costing anywhere from £4 to £40, and I've genuinely never liked a mascara anywhere near as much as this stuff.So, being realistic, no mascara will ever curl your lashes in the same way a curler will. This does genuinely add lift, and seems to hold my lashes up so it scores points for its curling ability from me. LOADS of mascaras I've tried have quite a wet formula which I just think weighs the lashes down and pulls them straight. This one is a fairly dry looking formula on the wand (and I've seen reviews of this mascara saying it's too dry or assuming the tube they received was too old) but a couple of months later the tube is still working it's magic, so I think it's the specific formula of this one that's dry so it's weightless.It adds for me just the right amount of volume, so my lashes as defined but not clumpy and it's seriously BLACK too. It also seems to somehow give the illusion of lengthening more than many of the lengthening mascaras I've tried, without having any fibres (or at least none that I've ever noticed shed) so it's never caused me any irritation.It doesn't shed during the day for me, or go grey-ish and brittle like many and I've never had it deposit those lovely dark circles of mascara dust that many others seem to do. I can't remember if it's waterproof according to the bottle/advert, but I've had a good cry at a film (Coco, bloody lovely) and it didn't budge.Naturally it's not THE EASIEST to remove, but if it was you'd be moaning about how little staying power it had. I've found it comes off with any decent oil based eye makeup remover, a miscellar water or my personal fave, coconut oil. Horror story - one of the frogs I kissed in my search for the mascara prince was the Estee Lauder Double Wear one, and oh my word I thought I was going to have to live in that forever, or pull out most of my lashes trying to get it off. Never again - one use and that tube went in the bin...

Love this mascara, will keep on purchasing as it’s not clumpy.
