Does it have an expiration Date?
I've used Uricel for approximately 4 years now and it's a great help. When I even get a little twinge of gout I take it right away and it's like gone the next day it's amazing. However I only go through a bottle every 9 to 12 months and the only time it doesn't work as well is when the bottle is old. So I'm wondering if the solution has an expiration date.

Does it work? Who knows?
I’ve been dealing with gout flare ups off and on since around 2010 mostly from alcohol consumption. Mostly from beer consumption. First time it happened I did t know what the heck was happening. Thought I broke a bone somehow in my foot. The pain was horrible. 22 years later, I’ve tried sooo many different things things. Bought this during a flare up that was pretty bad. I’ve used it a month or so and the bottle is almost gone. Gout is so random and different for everyone that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the flare ups. You read online that applying cold will help swelling. I’ve done it and an hour later it was way worse. Then Read the next story and it says cold can make it worse in some people. I can see why King George went mad. 😅.I honestly have no idea if it’s working or not. I THINK it might be helping a tiny bit? What I do know works is not drinking…. But I like beer soooo. Prednisone definitely works but it must be prescribed and it’s a steroid and who wants to take that all the time. Not good for you but neither is lots of beers 😅. Another thing I am certain is helping is something they used to think was bad for gout but new studies released in 2022 have shown low fat milk actually stops the creation of uric acid. I started adding it to my diet. 1 decent size glass a day has really helped. If I over do it and drink beer and eat too much stuff I shouldn’t eat and a flare up starts coming on, stop drinking, drink TONS of water and add 3 big glasses of milk a day. No joke it has really helped me. If you can hork it down, blending an entire head of celery and frozen cherries with water helps a lot too. This stuffs just too expensive and doesn’t have a “WOW THAT REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE!” factor for me.

Expensive Snake Oil
Did NOT WORK for me. I had high hopes due to all the five star reviews and claims that pain went away immediately, but after examining those reviews I see that many of them are not even verified purchasers! Buyers beware when this is the case. I read their claims and was convinced (or desperate) this would help relieve my terrible gout attack. I realize that "results may vary" but it turned out to be a waste of $48 for me - what an expensive snake oil. I bought it because my gout pain was so bad I could not walk or put any sort of pressure on my left foot. I had already visited Urgent Care - they prescribed Indomethacin and administered a steroid injection. The Indomethacin ended up causing severe headaches and high blood pressure so had to end that. I finally got an appointment with primary care doc and he prescribed Allopurinol and one more shot of steroid, followed up by a pack of Methylprednisolone. This helped a lot finally - the pain was numbed but the swelling did not subside. After the Methylprednisolone pack was done the pain came back with a vengeance and I was desperate for a solution! That's when I saw the Uricel ads. I read and hoped, then late one night as my foot was throbbing and I could not get any rest, I went and ordered via Amazon app. The great thing was that it arrived same day so I was excited. I followed directions and took prescribed dose daily until the bottle ran out. There was absolutely no relief from pain. I was very disappointed because I bought into the ads and the unverified purchaser reviews. I came back once more to my doctor and he added Colchicine to my treatment, which I've been taking for two days. I'm also still taking Allopurinol daily 300mg. Finally I see some swelling go down, and every dose seems to help. I can walk (slowly) again with a slight limp. I just have to rehab my left calve since it seemed to atrophy. So in short, what truly helped in the end was Colchicine and Allopurinol combined. Science prevails. All this time, I've also been eating healthy and following gout dietary guidelines from Mayo Clinic. Drink lots and lots of water. I hope this helps somebody.
