This is an excellent mat! Very glad we purchased it. We did the obligatory research and kept coming back to this mat. Don't let the number of reviews fool you. This mat delivers. It is thick and works well on our tiled floors. We use it in our home gym, which is a former office. Works well for floor exercises, provides a cushion when doing weight lifting, and we even have placed our workout bench on it. No complaints. Would definitely buy it again!

Hello, I received my Sensu Large Exercise Mat a couple days ago. I’ve enjoyed exercising on it. The thickness has been just right for my knees. I usually use 2 yoga mats for knees. The size is nice. Much larger than a yoga mat. I’ve been able to do yoga without my hands and feet slipping and the mat does not slide. I’ve taken up jump roping and I’m very happy that this mat is shoe friendly. The mat is firm and stable and can be used for various forms of exercise.

The Sensu Large Exercise Mat makes working out much more comfortable when exercising on the ground. It is also great for working out with weights since it gives a nice, nonslip, padded surface.

I spent an extensive amount of time looking through large exercise mats and this one is the one I purchased and I’m sooooo glad I did! It’s absolutely PERFECT! It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move when I workout. It does get a little slippery when doing things in hands after sweating but the towel they sent was a perfect fix for that! Love love LOVE this mat and think it’ll last a pretty long time. Definitely worth every single penny. Do yourself a favor and buy it already!

I have purchased a few exercise mats over the years. I use the mats on a carpeted area, so most of them slide around. I also wanted one wider than the normal mats to accommodate more floor exercises. This mat hits all the marks. It's more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I love the size of the mat and the fact that it stays in place on my plush carpet. The surface is soft but stable, and the texture helps to keep my feet in place with no slipping. I am super happy with this purchase; hence, the review. I research things extensively before buying, and my time spent reviewing my options and purchasing this one was well spent. This mat is definitely worth the cost!

The thickness is great and it seems well made. The whole reason I bought this is because it looked big enough for two people to be on it. It is definitely not big enough for that. Also, It is pretty heavy so I wouldn't recommend getting this to bring to places with you. This mat does seem like a good mat for one person at home.

This mat is perfect for my use. I live in a rented apartment with porcelain tile flooring and I don't usually clean the floor. The mat's surface is very easy to clean. After over a month of use with my shoes on, I wipe it down and it still looks new. It comes with velcro straps and a carrying bag and the mat is light enough to be picked up and carried around. The free workout towel that comes with it is also very useful: big enough and plush enough to lie down on. This mat is worth the purchase and is thicker than many other mats available on Amazon!

Well made good size. The thickness is what I was hoping for very Durable. The padding is awesome I have hard flooring and great cushion.

My large Sensu exercise mat arrived about in October, I have been using it for 6 months and no slipping and piling so far. It appears to be made of good quality and looks like it will hopefully last for years and years without wearing out easily or quickly (piling or shredding from friction). It's been great for both high and low impact exercises: it provides absorption; it's easier on joints; it doesn't slide around; and is comfortable enough for pilates and yoga workouts. If I do a lot of exercises on my back, I might put a yoga mat on top. I like the size 6'x4' and that comes with a carry mat, it's packable and easily portable. The mat didn't have an odour when I opened the package and it flattened out easily to use right away. I do wish I had ordered the larger size though, this shows how Highly I think of the quality and customer service.

Going from an ordinary yoga mat to a real training mat as the Sensu Large Exercise Mat for Cardio and HIIT workouts is such a huge -and necessary- upgrade! This exercise mat is sturdy, heavy, and won't slip on the floor, so it's perfect and safe for intense workouts that require a lot of movement. This mat is BIG and the size is perfect. It gives ideal support for the knees, feet and hands, depending on the exercise. However, there was a piece missing from the strap of the carry bag, but that's no big deal. I also prefer terrycloth towels, which are more comfortable for dry hands. At the same time, it was a bonus, so nothing too dramatic either. The most important thing is the mat, and so far, I am really happy with my purchase.

Setting up a yoga room in my home and wanted a mat that was deep/thick and durable, one that would not move during my sessions with yoga/work outs and one that was large enough for moving around....this mat has it all!!! As I opened the tightly rolled package, it immediately lay FLAT on the floor, no curving or time to settle..BAM, was flat and stays in place. Also there was no off gassing smell (something I definately did not want to have). The mat itself is very firm but gives my knees/hands (in yoga) plenty of support. I would have no hesitation using it for weight training (which eventually I intend to do). I've used my higher quality mat for a number of months now and truly happy with this purchase!! Very pleased and would not hesitate to purchase again.

I wish I had bought this mat sooner. It's been a game changer for my HIIT workouts. It provides great cushioning for my joints. It's the perfect size and easy to store away when I am finished with my workouts. The towel is a nice extra for stretching out the sweaty muscles at the end. I'm petite but can manage to set up and store the mat easily on my own. Great product and worth the cost!
