Triple Shot, Double Pump, No Whip Zits: A Zits Treasury (Volume 29)

Great book! Very near and dear to our hearts. Jeremy could almost be a character study of our son...and our family!It's so hard to believe our 17 year old son is graduating HS and going off to college in 2014. We're experiencing the roller-coaster of emotions that go along with this exciting time in all our lives, and "Zits" has been the best therapy/prep for at least the last 6 years.I would liken this book series to our reading "What To Expect When You're Expecting" when we were newly pregnant. It was a very helpful guide for parenting, questions, and practical advice. When your little people are about 11-12+ years old, "Zits" is your next parenting go-to guide for all. You'll love, laugh, and cry your way through the next 6+ years together.

As a parent whose sons have long passed those endearing, infuriating teenage years, I love Jeremy Duncan and his friends! And now I chuckle as my teenage grandchilren visit all that teenage angst on their parents, my children! I identify with Walt and Connie, I remember the antics and escapades of Jeremy, Pierce, Hector and Sara, and I am convulsed with laughter. (And we even had a VW bus when we were young parents, too!)

Seriously, if you read the comic in the paper or online, then you've probably already seen these strips. Still, given that King Comics removes them after a month, the only way you're going to be able to read them again is if you buy the books.There isn't much else to say. The strip isn't for everyone for some reason, but it's hard for me to figure out why.

For anyone who has or has had a teenage son or daughter. (Sara and her GFs are no little Ms Perfects either) They have hit the nail on the head with the portrayal of Jeremy and Sara. Having gone thru this with 2 ex-teenage sons, I can really appreciate the events depicted here. It's almost like Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbs) has grown up and now has the "teenage attitude".

Before I had children, I thought Zits was just an okay comic, but now that two of my children have become teenagers I find the comic really funny. My kids are great, and I am thankful that they are so well behaved. But even so, they still have some traits of the Zits teen menagerie.

Zits is not my favorite cartoon, but this is a good collection and the book is put together well.

Jeremy and his life amuses me all the time. His mom and dad and friends never fail to please. If your teenager has moved on or if you are in the middle of the teen age years some Jeremy will make you laugh and take the edge off of those hard years.

I can't get this book away from my junior high students long enough for me to read it! They love it. They read it over and over again. Considering that I work with students who struggle with and are reluctant to read this is amazing. Well done Mr. Scott.

Love this comic, I can relate to it! Both as a parent and in memories of my teenage years. It keeps us laughing.

Der 16-jährige Jeremy benimmt sich wie... eben ein typischer Teenie :-))Es ist sehr beruhigend zu sehen, dass sich nicht nur mein eigener Sohn (im selben Alter) so verhält, sondern dass dieses Verhalten "altersgerecht" ist. Super amüsant und leicht zu lesen, der Autor trifft mit seinen tollen Comix den "Nagel auf den Kopf". Auch in der Darstellung seiner Mutter fühle ich mich häufig selbst "ertappt"... (wie peinlich ;-)). Sehr zu empfehlen - und für Eltern von Teenies vielleicht sogar noch lustiger als für die Teenies selbst.

One of the best comics in the paper today. Borgman and Scott's humour spans all ages. I'm in my 40's reading these, and can relate to Walt & Connie, but can also relate to Jeremy and his friends, as my memory is good and I quite easily remember doing the stupid teenager stuff that Jeremy does...

Jeremy's Umgang mit typischen Alltagsherausforderungen eines 16jährigen lebt von kernigen Übertreibungen. Die Original-Englisch-Version kann zudem die Kenntnisse in "Everyday-English" wesentlich verbessern, die Teenager 'im wahren Leben' eher brauchen als das Schul-Oxford-Englisch.

Fast alle Comics sind neu und es gibt fast keine Wiederholungen aus alten Büchern :-)!Die Treasurys sind halt einfach am besten!Echt empfehlenswert und lustig. Das Englisch ist sehr einfach zu verstehen.
