I thought this magnetic wireless alarm system with PIR detector was being discontinued but it is still available (Sept 2023) . If your in need of a very reliable wireless alarm system which comes with two wireless door or window switches which are activated by the movement of a magnet and a receiver that has PIR detection built in you can’t go wrong with this very affordable system. You can add more of the RF connected door or window switches. The very small magnet and RF transistor switches can be used to detect the movement of just about anything. Great product!

I liked the idea of this alarm. Very small contacts with a motion sensor that you can easily mount anywhere. Bought it for my RV where I need a thin contact. Received the first alarm and could not get it to function. The problem seemed to be with the fob. Unfortunately this alarm only arms and disarms with the fob. Returned but decided to give it another try and ordered a replacement. Encountered the same fob issue as with the first set. This time we were able to discover the design flaw that kept the fob from working. The battery in the fob does not make correct contact when the battery cover is on. If I took off the battery cover and pressed done on the button battery while pressing the fob buttons the products works perfectly. I like the overall design enough that I will keep this set and figure out a way to seat the battery more snugly.

Easy to set up, no need for subscription if used inside home. Loud siren which wake me up if someone walk inside my home while sleeping. Different setting options and subscription if needed.

This would have scared Jerry Reed and Burt Reynolds enough that it would have prevented them from stealing the beer in Smokey and the Bandit.

Step 1~ Attach 3M strip to back of alarm.3M strip, ok? Oh~ it's not included so, there's that.Step 2~ Pair Motion sensor with Alarm.Oh, that's a cute little chirp it makes.Wait~ it's on Home mode.Let's see what happens when I slide the remote to Away.So Loud. Well, that'll wake you up.Off. Off, Why won't the Off button make it stop? (removes batteries, grateful tested before installed).Ohhh ~ that's right, couldn't install without 3M strips.Step 3~ Test spot for alarm sensor.Not one window or sliding door in my home is flush.Which means they won't line up so won't work.Not Sabre's fault. Just worth noting if yours do before ordering (and ordering 3M strips).Some things are on Sabre.And some things come with the low expectation of a budget "alarm".Ultimately the design makes it a no go for me but maybe it'll work for you.Still love Sabre ( Saber? Sa-bray?) to bits for their pepper gel.Give one to all my friends & store in multiple spots including my phone ring.Safety first.

I like this kit for being quick and easy to install. It includes double sided tape to mount the door and the batteries for the sensor. You'll need some AA batteries for the motion sensor/base unit.I mounted this to a set of french doors that were in no way flush. However the magnet worked just fine to let the sensor know the door was shut. I'd say it's about 1/2" away from the sensor and still works. If you are in the situation where you have a door that doesn't sit flush, you can improvise with the magnet. I've used small rod magnets before on doors where the jamb was an issue. I've also put small round magnets imbedded into the wood of doors that didn't line up. So if you have a door that doesn't line up exactly to the jamb, get creative - it's basic kindergarten skills to mount this.The on - off function from the remote works really well. I like the simplicity. I leave the unit in "home" mode for the most part since I'm home all the time. This is a notifier to wake me at night if someone opens the doors.I would not call the siren ear-splitting but it's definitely loud enough to wake a sleeping person in the same room. It makes the dog bark.

I have this alarm in my detached garage. The unit It replaced was infrared activated, and you had to point the remote to activate it. This one only has to be in proximity to activate. The window/door sensors are a plus, and work well. I'm very happy with it.

I wish reviews had been done prior to me ordering this as I could have seen it would not work for me.My door is not flush, so the door alarm cannot connect. I was able to pair the sensor, however the actual door alarm nor the remote work for me. The remote came with a new battery and I placed new batteries that were not included in the sensor.The remote whether on home or away would not work. Nor would the door piece. Super bummed as this would have been a great item to have.My rating is in the middle as the pieces are well made and it is a nice system - it just did not work for me, at all.
