Wow, they really weren't kidding when they said 80% space reduction! I packed all my clothes and beddings for my move, and I was AMAZED that I was able to pack ALL of my winter sweaters (I have dozens and dozens) in just 2 large space bags; I packed ALL of the clothes that have taken me 8 containers before in just 3 of them now, and my moving process has been made SO much easier! Contrary to what others have said, the black hand pump actually does work, and that's what I've been using this entire time. It does take a little more time and perhaps some perseverance toward the end where you really have to work to squeeze the last bit of air out, but I haven't found any difference in volume between doing it by hand and by vacuum. I ordered 2 boxes of these and used all but one of them with absolutely no problems; only one jumbo bag had a bit of an issue and would slowly re-inflate, which I noticed immediately. I monitored all the other bags I packed for about 3 weeks before putting them away into containers, and none of the other ones re-inflated, not even a bit. They were rock solid. I contacted customer service just about the one jumbo bag. Reaching them was already made very easy and accessible since the seller followed up on my order before I even received the package (all I had to do was hit "reply" to the email), and they IMMEDIATELY sent a replacement that more than made up for the defective one bag. The tremendous help that these bags provided would have already scored a 5/5 stars, but the customer service was somehow even better! I would give this a 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Just give these bags a chance and never look back!! They are worth EVERY penny.

I live in a small apartment with almost no storage space -- not even a pantry! I've been storing my extra sheets and blankets in underbed bins, but the last couple of times I changed sheets, I found the stored ones smelled weird. They were clean and dry, but they had absorbed some kind of plastic-y, chemical scent from the bins. So I went looking for some kind of airtight bags that might help and came across these space saver bags. For someone whose never used these before... The bags were thinner than I expected but seen very sturdy. I've only used a couple of them so far, but they work great. The hand pump is surprisingly efficient, at least with the smaller bags. I'm too lazy to use it on the jumbo bags, so I'm glad I bought a cheap electric pump made specifically for bags like these. The clips are annoying but I see the point. I mostly sealed the bags manually but then ran the clip over the seal to make sure I hadn't left any gaps. The lack of instructions is frustrating. Just some short instructions on the product label, no indication of how much the different size bags should hold, and a vague warning not to overfill. For a quality product and a well-known name, you'd think they'd give a new customer a little more info and guidance. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I'll likely spend some more time this weekend putting my quilts and winter blankets -- maybe even my sweaters and winter wear -- in these bags, not just to save space but also to keep them fresh-smelling!

I really like these Space Saver Bags—they’re durable, hold a lot, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. It’s been a while since I last used them, but once I got going, they still worked great for compressing bulky items and freeing up a ton of storage space. My only issue is that they didn’t come with any instructions. I couldn’t remember how full to make the bags or what size each one was supposed to hold. In the past, the fill guidelines were printed right on the bags, so it was a little frustrating not having that reference anymore. I figured it out eventually, but it would’ve been nice to have the info included. Overall, the bags themselves are excellent—just missing those helpful details that used to make them even easier to use.

These storage are the easiest to use than any other I’ve ever tried. They’ve study and shrink down in seconds.

Not all bags sealed well. Have used vacuum bags from Kmart, which were cheaper, bigger and much better quality !

I love my Spacesaver bags, I have been able to put away all outdoor cushions and covers I won't be using again until the summer using just a few bags, I love the variety of sizes , the jumbo ones are really big, I was afraid they wouldn't fit thick duvet, well they actually fit 2 , the small / medium ones are great for travelling if you want to just take e carry on , and the size of the pump is small and very light so no problem travelling with it . They are so easy to use and helpful, I ended up ordering another batch 2 days after my order arrive because there are so many uses for it and really saves me a lot of space. They are really think and durable too. My only regret is I didn't find them before!

This is the second time that I have purchased Vacuum storage bags and I have to say I thought buying this brand would be better then the cheap ones I brought years ago. I am not sure if I am doing it wrong but I have followed the instructions not to overfill however the 2 that I have used for bedding have needed to have the air sucked out again. The product itself seems to be of excellent quality however the air creeps back in needing to be sucked again.

They don't hold vacuüm. Al of them are filled with clothing and blankets, all of them lost vacuüm.

Alle Tüten halten sehr lange das Vakuum. Habe bis jetzt eigentlich nicht beobachten können, dass die Sachen wieder Luft ziehen. Sehr Praktisch für Reisen. Die Handpumpe nicht vergessen mitzunehmen, sondern müsst ihr Staubsauger im Hotel ausleihen. :-)
