Possibly my favorite lego set of all time or at the very least a close 2nd to Rivendell or Bara'Dur. So much detail, so many Minifigures, it's hard to believe this set wasn't more, when I got it. It is right in on the edge of our ciry so, It doesn't get buried bexause the design is soooo good.

My husband has turned away from buying this so many times because of the price. When I found it on Amazon, I had to order it. The convenience of ordering online made this purchase even better. It was delivered in perfect condition. It was wrapped in a very durable plastic that kept the box from being damaged in shipment.

Full disclosure I bought this as an investment and I’m not going to be putting it together. From the outside It’s beautiful. The packaging is pristine and I carefully opened it to do a parts count (although I did not open the plastic bags) but, all the parts are there and the instructions seem incredibly clear. I can only go by the photos of what it would look like put together but it’s just amazing. A whole lot bigger than I thought it would be. I feel that this one will definitely double it’s value (a few years after it’s retired) seeing that Lego has a far better return than the stock market! That’s ONLY if you can refrain from putting it together. ( iron willpower needed)

A fun and intricate build. Get it before its gone. It could have used a bit more foliage but since its Lego its easy to add more. I added some extra minifigs from the Ninjago Movie blind bags +.

RESEÑA DE NINJAGO CITY GARDENS #71741 COSTO: $5,852.07mxn a 12MSI el 02-NOV-2021 por Amazon, llegando al día siguiente. PIEZAS: 5685 Después de terminar la estructura principal y quedando pendiente el mausoleo de Zane (veré si lo armo), les voy a adelantar mi opinión con lo bueno y lo malo de este set, siendo este, el set #150 de mi inventario desde 1992. LO BUENO: · La paleta de colores alcanza el nivel de exótico. · Las técnicas de construcción son muy variadas, por momentos parece hasta “normal” construir de manera lateral, en diagonal, en círculo, de arriba hacia abajo, de atrás hacia adelante, rotar estructuras una y otra vez, usar sables de Star Wars como barandales, salchichas como fachadas de techo, armas como plantas, pistolas para armar árboles y lámparas, tazas de café como tubos de drenaje, gorras como hongos y así una larga lista. · En ocasiones se siente que para evitar construcciones ilegales diseñaron piezas nuevas solo para ser usadas en este set y los otros 2. · Dice que trae 20 minifiguras, pero hay que sumar 3, una que es usada como anuncio, otra mas como estatua y un traje completo de ninja que esta guardado en la torre. · El nivel de detalle dentro de cada módulo impresiona, hay una gran administración del espacio interior a pesar de lo pequeño que resultan algunos módulos. · Las técnicas usadas en la construcción de los primeros 6 módulos con una pared en “diagonal” /כ es algo bastante extremo y probablemente difícil de diseñar, supongo que pasaron varios días sin dormir pensando cómo iban a hacer que encajen los módulos de esa manera. · Que la altura del 3er nivel sea la misma que la de los 2 sets previos es una hazaña, son demasiadas cosas por considerar en cada nivel para que además tenga que coincidir. · Se aplicaron muchísimo en las fachadas, hay módulos que se ven mejor desde atrás que desde adelante. · Si les gusta la micro y nano construcción, aquí hay bastante, en especial al construir el museo Ninjago, la heladería y el restaurante. · Es un set donde pueden usar minifiguras de tamaño normal. · Hay quienes dicen que “trae pocas plantas” lo cual no comparto, tiene un árbol que abarca 4 niveles, una isla con un bonsái, un hongo enorme, macetas por todas partes con flores y un cerezo en el 5to. nivel, no hay mas plantas porque no hay donde ponerlas. · Cuando creen que se les olvidó el estilo Ciberpunk, aparece una motoneta voladora, un robot que limpia las banquetas y una torre tan moderna que contrasta con la ciudad. · Usa 66 stickers, se me hizo algo “normal”, hay unas muy bonitas y creativas. LO MALO: · A partir del 4to nivel se vuelve muy inestable, esta vez ni se molestaron en que tenga que estar pegado, solo esta “asentado” y siguieron construyendo encima. ¿VALE LA PENA COMPRARLO? · Si tienen los otros 2 sets, sí, hay que comprarlo, esta diseñado para complementar a los otros 2 sets, donde termina una banqueta (sea el 1er o 3er nivel) continúa en el otro set; donde hay una pared esta sigue en el otro, si a un set le falta una tienda el otro la tiene; incluso las minifiguras de los personajes secundarios no se repiten. · Para exhibición en su casa, sí, aunque también existen otras opciones. · Como primer set de NINJAGO CITY para “anexarlo a una ciudad de modulares” la respuesta es, para decirlo de manera simplificada, “NO”, tendrán que hacer severas modificaciones que van a costar dinero, muchísimas piezas, frustración y de todas formas NO VA A ENCAJAR; la altura del set, de los módulos, los colores, el estilo de fachada, las minifiguras, los anuncios publicitarios, nada combina con el estilo marcado de los modulares. Por último, quiero felicitar a los diseñadores de estos sets, las fotos no le hacen justicia a sus creaciones

If you ever have to measure a lego set value, you can never go wrong with lego Ninjago especially the Ninjago City, the docks and now the City Gardens. I have two of these sets but if you are a lego collector you really need at least 10 of the Ninjago City Gardens. The City Gardens are so modular that you can build several City Gardens and group them together that you can make a whole city wall just based on the modularity of the City Gardens. Can't go wrong in buying this!! Buy this before it retires
