I love big knives! I could carry this in the woods but I wouldn't carry it anywhere else! I especially like the Damascus blade. Overall construction seems nice and I like the brass.

Very nice looking out of hand. In hand, the blade is a little thin, and lighter than you would think. Appears the blade was just roughly ground out of flat stock. No contouring at all, just flat and straight. The handle is oversized. We'll see if it stands up to any use as a brush knife, as I intend to abuse it. Glad I only paid $48 for it. UPDATE: It holds a pretty good edge, takes abuse as a brush knife. It's my No.1 go to knife when I head out. Very impressive knife. I would buy another.

I was mad at first, really mad. It was taking forever to get this. Upon receiving it, I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a beautiful knife. Very well made. It comes extremely sharp like a scalpel and to a point as a needle. Exactly what I wanted. The waiting was worth it. I would deduct one star for waiting but that wouldn’t be fair. The thickness and ability to retain the sharpness is superb. It’s the absolute perfect size I was looking for. The leather sheath will protect very well. I’m going to buy another as a gift for a good friend who appreciates this kind of craftsmanship.

Beautiful blade, good craftsmanship, holds an edge very well! I live in the south, and this blade is always on my hip! Now, just need to find a shoulder holster for it.
