I recently purchased this toasted sesame oil, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen! The aroma is rich and nutty, and it adds an incredible depth of flavor to everything from stir-fries to salads. One of my favorite ways to use it is for a super quick dressing: just mix 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon honey, and a pinch of chili flakes—and voilà! You have a delicious, restaurant-quality dressing in under a minute. It’s versatile, flavorful, and a little goes a long way. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to elevate everyday meals without fuss! The smell and flavor is very different from olive oil, so it gives you e perception of completely different dressing if you substitute your regular olive oil with this one sometimes. Toasted sesame oil is considered healthy for several reasons, especially when used in moderation as a flavor enhancer rather than a cooking staple: 1. Rich in Healthy Fats: • It contains mostly unsaturated fats, particularly polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, which are good for heart health. • These fats can help lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and support healthy cholesterol levels. 2. Packed with Antioxidants: • Sesame oil contains sesamol and sesamin, natural antioxidants that help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. • Antioxidants may reduce inflammation and support overall health. 3. Supports Heart Health: • Studies suggest sesame oil may improve blood pressure and arterial function, thanks to its healthy fat profile and antioxidant content. 4. Contains Vitamins and Minerals: • Small amounts of vitamin E, vitamin K, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and zinc are present, contributing to overall nutrition. 5. May Help Control Blood Sugar: • Some research indicates sesame oil can help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity when incorporated into a balanced diet. 6. Lightly Processed (if toasted): • Toasted sesame oil is usually minimally processed, so it retains more nutrients and antioxidants compared to heavily refined oils.

The oil doesn't have a strong toasted flavor... it's not much different than a regular sesame oil.

I’m picky about what I cook with as a retired chef and this sesame oil is some of the best you can buy the second you opened up you can smell the quality. It’s smooth you’re not gonna find any debris in it. It’s definitely top quality depending on how much you cook with it is containers are about the right size but seriously the quality and the flavor is outstanding.

This review is for the toasted sesame oil. This is the best flavored oil I've eaten. My two favorites just out of the bottle: drizzling on salad with a touch of vinegar and cracked pepper. Drizzled on steamed edamame in shells. Two favorites cooked: combined with some canola and used to fry up tofu. And mixed in when making granola. It adds a nice layer of nuttiness to whatever I'm making. Quality has been fantastic. I keep it in the refrigerator after I open it. Until I get to the last little bit, then I leave it out to make it easier to pour out the last of it. I'm not sure what the smoke point is by itself, as I always use it with canola or peanut if I'm cooking with it. When I make the tofu, I use medium heat and it's not an issue since I'm going for golden brown.
