They are okay, honestly not impressed. For the money, I expected the finishwork to be better. The edges weren't sanded so they are sharp. It seems like they just machined out the glass and shipped it. I will have to sand it myself so I dont cut myself. I won't buy again.I owned and operated a glass replacement company for 4 years, I myself cut and sanded annealed glass for tabletops. There is nothing scary or dangerous with taking a piece of sandpaper to the edges, but thank you for your excessive concern.

I am only using them for the first time now, but the initial appearance and everything is great. They are well constructed glass, and I actually like the plastic container provided to store them in. I can also verify that you have 4 glass disks in the container. The photo only shows 3 so I was a little curious.I would say that because of the diameter--you can expect some fermentables to come up the sides. But that is a fair, and perhaps important trade off. It allows you to pull out the disc without tipping and shaking the jar.Enjoy

These work perfectly with my wide mouth quart jars. They are the perfect size to keep the veggies submerged and also really easy to get out. I was wondering if I would have to turn the jar upside down to get them out but they easliy come out by pressing one side down and then pulling it out. I also like the plastic jar they come in, very easy to store. I've bought other products from FermentEm and they have quality stuff.

I used them once and they worked fine.

These are perfect for making homemade pickles and sauerkraut.

These weights fit perfectly into wide mouth mason jars. They do a great job weighting down shredded cabbage to make sauerkraut.
