Montana Gluten Free Raw Oatmeal, 3 Pound

These oats are absolutely amazing! As someone who loved all things oat prior to the sad diagnosis of "gluten sensitivity" by my doctor after some persistent GI issues, these Montana Gluten Free Oat products are phenomenal. Even if I weren't someone who had to stay away from gluten!The ubiquitous Quaker oat canisters in my pantry? That tin of McCann's steel cut oats? Packets of instant oatmeal? Tossed them out to the chickens. I'm never going back.The smell when you open up the bag for the first time is indescribably fresh and they taste fresh too. Which is something I just realized, oats should taste like this, not like the insipid cardboard pellets that Quaker oats taste like.So far I've made some kick-ass granola with these raw oats and the oat bran, and then some kick-ass oatmeal raisin cookies. This weekend will be some Havrekjeks (Norwegian oat cookie) just to see how they do.I've been eating these for a week now, and nary a GI complaint in sight, which in an of itself is a godsend. Struggling with having to eat GF AND low sugar was getting depressing for breakfast.Thank you Montana Gluten Free for an amazing line of products! When we're in Bozeman this summer visiting family, I'm coming by for a visit and to stock up! :D

We're only halfway through the bag, and back to buy more. Excellent product! We usually buy organic, but since the company doesn't offer the organic line on Amazon, we are going with this one. We are prime members, and prefer the free shipping. I spoke directly with the company and they assured me that these are still non-gmo and are not sprayed with any pesticides. That works for us! They are delicious raw, soaked overnight, and then spun in the vitamix with fruits, flavorings, etc. Then pour over whole fruits. Yummy!

My lifestyle is Plant Based and I'm raw vegan so this product has been fantastic for my lifestyle. My husband also tried as he is only Vegan not raw and it makes a fabulous cooked oatmeal. For me this is great soaked overnight or just with smoothie/juice/nice cream, banana milk. Also if you are like me and suffer from allergies to gluten, nuts, soy, or any other food intolerances/allergies this is a very clean product as well as it's processing facilities. OK oats. Not the best I've had in gluten free. They do taste good and the thickness is pretty good for baking as well. It is a good brand and packaged well and sealed tight.

Great product, I’ve bought these oats 3 times and it’s always fresh and delicious. I keep them sealed in the fridge so the end of the bag is as good as the first cup. I’ve made them every way including in meatballs, overnight oats, baked goods, etc.

Pretty happy with these oats from the moment I opened the bag, got a nice oat dust in the air that told me it was the real deal. I found no mold or evidence or staleness, instead a nice even freshness through out the oats. I soaked and fermented them and had a nice big bowl of raw oats for breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Horrible oatmeal!! I use it for smoothies and it has biter after taste. I will go back to using store brand oatmeal

This is the worst oatmeal I've ever had. I was hoping for steel cut, old-fashioned oats...NOT! Pure glue with no taste. Really sad I waited until now to leave a comment and not returning it for a refund.
