overall it is great for my face cleansing but it took longer time and effort for my eyeliners to come off

OMG the new packaging on this is next level. i love this balm in general; it cleans like a dream, its gentle on my sensitive acne prone skin, and the smell is terrific (smells very medicinal). i have a newly discovered allergy to essential oils, and there are essential oils in this but it does not affect my skin (a mystery that still perplexes me because the klairs supple preparation toner DESTROYED my skin).I want to talk exclusively about the packaging in this paragraph. there have been countless times with the old packaging that i was like WHY? it was a a packaging nightmare. almost drove me away. i always threw away my scooper because it was just to many steps to unscrew the dang thing, take out the scooper, take out that weird plastic thing, scoop out product, where the eff do you put the product after you scoop it? ok ill awkwardly put everything on my sink vanity because i cant reassemble the packaging because my blob of balm will fall off my hand and on the floor. so i message the balm onto my face, now my hands are disgustingly oily, cant wash them with water because it will get into the hemish balm tub and ruin the product... i put the packaging back together and now its gross and oily and i cant screw it back on right and and STOP!!! IT WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE!!! But, the new packaging is a flip top. friggin genius. you flip it, scoop it, close it, DONE! heimish you miracle worker.

This makeup remover is fantastic! has an awesome texture and removes even water resistant mascara and liquid eye liner. I usually use bifasics makeup removers from either lancome or garnier miscellar cleansing water all in 1, and this Balm has nothing to envy those cult favorites! It takes out every impurity, and doesn't leaves the face feeling oily, but it does leaves an awesome hydration and cleanliness feeling! Its easy to use, just a little amount removes everything, and you don't need to rub with any other cloth or cotton, your hands its all its needed! I highly recommend it! This one just became A MUST for me!

The product I received is very watery, not a balm by any means. After reading other reviews, it seems I am not the first one to have this problem. Disappointing but at least it wasn't a lot of money to throw away.
