Great book! As one of my favorite pieces by the great composer Liszt, it is great to have this copy and hand and use to practice. It has fingering and clearly laid out sheet music. In addition, it is being sold at a great price of $5.

Chosen because Hinson is a well respected and excellent editor. Always pleased with the time, effort, research and quality put into Alfred products. Hinson is a top favorite among many others. Explanation of form well written.

Great editing, which is expected from Alfred editions. However, the print seems to be smaller in this particular edition than in their other publications. I still recommend this edition for their extensive research and performance notes.

Very nice edition, which I expected from Maurice Hinson. Beautiful cover too.

I always like best the original author's written interpretation of their music.

I had lost my original copy of this Etude. So glad to get another copy. Now I can rework the music and present the classic in the near future.

I'm only bothering to write a review because someone else gave this edition a bad review based on the fact they couldn't play It! Liszt wasnt an amateur so why would he limit his compositions to make them playable for an amateur pianist? Haha! If you want music written by an amateur for an amateur maybe try Einaudi? 😂 So, whether you can play it or not is by the by, this is an excellent edition, good quality and good fingering/performance advice. If you want to learn this piece, I'd recommend this edition, if you can't play It, I'd recommend practicing more.
