These hold great whether you are securing a small or large section of hair. There's a rubber like guard across the metal bar that holds your hair better than just an all metal piece. Definitely recommend for holding your hair up all day long. I've even slept in these.

I love these Hair Barrettes. They seem to be of good quality, easy to open and very effective for my thinning hair.

Very Pretty

The barret is fine. it just isn't working well for me. My hair is to thin and to fine for it to hold. For normally heavy hair it Should be ok. They are very pretty. I am 81 year old nursing home patient and have very thin and fine hair and very disappointed that they don't work well for me but not the fault of Barrett.

Very classy subtle colors that go with a good range of my wardrobe. Colors a good deal of hair quite well. Sturdy barrette. I use them all the time with an upsweep or a pony tail.

I love every one of these hair clips, and they fit an average amount of hair comfortably in the clip. They do not slip.

My hair is baby fine and I can never find hair clips that will hold. If you have fine hair, these are the ONLY ones to buy and such a deal!!! 4 for about $10 and they are so expensive looking - Love them!!!

Barrette actually measured 3 and 1/4 inches long (a tiny bit longer than that). Width was as stated.The black barrette had an interesting mosaic look that looked good in my hair. It looks exactly as pictured. I liked the muted/classic look of the other colors in the photos. However, they didn't look good in person. As you can see in the photo, the pink is more like a peach. The one that I thought would be white/pearl has a lot more beige/yellow in it. The tortoiseshell was actually pretty but that's not a pattern I think looks good on me. As a result, I returned this set and got a two-pack that has just the black.This barrette isn't meant to hold all your hair because it's flatter than the ponytail-style barrettes, which have a bigger arch. Instead, the proportions are nice for holding half your hair or -- if your hair is thin -- grabbing the ends of it in an updo.
