Smooth, Tasty, Slightly Sweet. Very Nice tea!
This is my first time trying Japanese tea and I am really liking it. I brewed with 200 degree water and 2 minutes thirty seconds. The tea is smooth and tasty with a slightly sweet finish. I get the impression this is real quality cup of tea. I will certainly be buying more. Come to think of it, this tea would make some great iced tea also!In my opinion you can't go wrong with this tea.

Amazing Black Tea - Smooth, and Not Overpowering
Probably one of the best teas I've had the opportunity to have. As someone who enjoys Lipton black tea, this is superior in every way, minus all the micro plastics (from the tea bags). I don't think I can have anything less than this at this point.

Nice
One of the best black teas I’ve ever had, and you don’t need to use a lot of it to get a wonderful extraction and taste in your cup. For starters, the bag comes with a good amount of tea leaves, which was nice after having purchased others where they kind of filled it more with air than with tea. What’s more, it lasts a long time because of how little you need to use to get a great cup of tea. The bag recommends about 2.5 minute extraction at the prescribed temperature, but for my own personal taste (meaning smoother, less strong), I have found that 1.5-2 minutes is smoother and tasteful enough. Longer temperatures just gives you a stronger black tea flavor. The color is absolutely amazing, and when combined with a Turkish-styled tea cup, it just feels like an exotic beverage. Haven’t tried the tea with anything added, like cream or milk like they do in some countries, but really haven’t found the need to do so, as the tea, by itself, is so delicious.

Really excellent quality
This tea is a great price for what it is. These plants have to be absolute specimens, the leaves are huge and beautiful. I wouldn't call this a "black tea" exactly. It is only slightly darker than the oolong they were offering earlier this year. The leaves are dark green in appearance and do not resemble conventional black tea in size, color or flavor. It's much more vegetal and floral tasting than the English Breakfast you know. This tea has an almost muscatel flavor similar to Darjeeling (but not quite the same; if you try it, you'll know). However, a Darjeeling of THIS quality would cost 3 or 4 times as much. I could see this tea becoming well known and the price skyrocketing. Gokase Town produces some of the best tea I have ever had.

This is weak black tea. I wish I had known this before I purchased it.
I tried this tea expecting to like it. It failed my test, as I found it to be disappointingly weak. I just don't like weak tea. If you happen to like weak tea, you may very well enjoy this one. Otherwise, I cannot recommend it.
