Quality switch’s work great

The media could not be loaded. I’ve used a couple of these for various projects and so far they work great. No instructions are included, so you’ll need to come back and refer to the product images here for info on which terminal is which.Most recent project with them was as a way to turn on and off my 12V outdoor patio string lights. It’s been about a month, with several heavy rains, and so far everything still is working great.

Well-made and durable.

I bought these as I was adding a set of driving lights to my new dual sport bike, and I wanted to be able to independently switch them off. I wired this switch into the relay circuit feeding the lights, and added a ground so the illumination (of the switch) would work. The switch works well, and the illumination makes it clear when the lights are off or on.It is perhaps a little flimsy, and as far as waterproofing there is a rubber boot around the switch . I have been in the rain and so far no issues. Time will tell how durable it is, but so far they are great for the price.

Do NOT buy these as inline switches to gate power to landscape low voltage 12Vac lighting. This product page clearly states not to use them with AC, but maybe you are like me and figured that maybe the switch works fine, but the blue LED just doesn't work. If so, you would be WRONG just like me. These act as a normal switch for 1 phase opf the AC, but in the reverse phase they don't turn all the way off. You only get a blue LED diode drop in the reverse phase with the average voltage at about 9V in the OFF direction :-( Oh well, now I have some cool affordable switches for DC only applications. Now you can consider yourself PROPERLY warned.

I purchased these for a 24vdc circuit after researching and finding that AC switches depend on a short drop in voltage to zero and allow the disconnect to work. However when used on DC since it's always powered the disconnect my not work correctly and cause it to heat up. Everything on the page stated they were for DC but the labeling on the switch shows only AC ratings.
