Extreme Max5600.3072 Bear Claw ATV Winch - 3100 lbs.

Love the winch and very sturdy and durable and works as expected. Just know how to mount it as no mounting instructions and also be sure you have the mount for your ATV as this does not come wiht a universal mount. You gave to already have the mount on the ATV to bolt this to it. The only thing I did not like is the solonoid to plug it alll in is open and you have to have it in a DRY spot as wires show. I was like...where on an atv is a dry spot under the seat?? No room in there for the size of this. I tucked it in the middle of the atv somewhere and did not mount it so hoping it wont hit the exhaust and burn but there is not a good place to mount the solonoid and wish it had a waterproof cover. Anyway though still 5 starrs for the prices and the product is awesome and works great.

I purchased this to put on Honda Pioneer. I mainly use it for the plow. I installed it in less than 30 minutes. I recommend using a fairlead mount and longer cables. The Winch itself is built well. It has enought pull for what I need it for. I did wire the control to the ignition. The install and wiring was simple.

Purchased this to put on my ATV for general use around our property. I will be moving logs, pulling stumps, and other property management tasks. The winch itself is great. It's quiet and stronger than I probably need. The rocker switch is easy to use and wide which will be nice when wearing gloves.The wiring between the relay and the winch was short for my bike and the relay to the battery wiring was way long. I trimmed the relay-battery wire to an appropriate length and spliced the excess to the other side.The winch came with a small red snatch block which is stamped as rated for 4k lbs which was nice. We used it once to lift a 200 lb propane heater about 8 ft off the ground to mount it. The snatch block exploded while it was holding the heater. Fortunately we had the heater mounted or it could have been bad. The arms on the snatch block aren't true. There is a little more curve in the bends than there needs to be. As a result, when there is a load, the arms are squeezed together at the d-ring side which pushes the arms at the pulley end apart. This 200 lb load to put enough pressure on this to push the c-clip holding the pulley axle out of place and the snatch block came apart. Hopefully the winch was made with better quality control than the snatch block. Time will tell.

So far so good. Installed on a 2006 Rancher and use it to raise/lower snow plow. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward. Operates in and out smoothly and works on command as expected. Comes with a snatchblock as well which is a nice thing to have if you ever get really stuck and need to double line winch yourself out.I also really like the free-spool option. Being able to reach in, turn the dial to free-spool, and walk away with the hook to let the cable out is very convenient instead of having to press the "out" button the whole time. Great feature!

installed on a 07 arctic cat 650 h1 and i was 1st impressed with the quality of the winchthe directions weren't the best but thats prob because i didnt read them too many words and not enuf pics lol but its all color coated wiring and good quality the only thing i think they cheeped out on is the actual handle bar mount for the rocker switch but that was no big deal i would buy this again and again great product for the money*update after a couple months on the quad and like 250 miles it stopped working you push the button and it only clicks

The winch fit and worked great. After 3 uses the switch (in/out) stopped working. The switch will only spool out. I should also mention it was raining when the switch quit. I assume the switch is not water proof.

I bought this winch after looking at several others, mainly due to the overall completeness of the kit and, what I perceived to be, high quality construction. I was not disappointed when I received the package and, after installation, was able to test by pulling my boat (about 3500 lbs, with tires at about 5 psi from sitting for 2 years) about 5 feet saving me from having to get my truck into the back driveway. The winch performed without a whimper; the biggest issue was getting the ATV to not get pulled into the boat (the brakes held, but the tires were just on the edge of traction).

This is a great winch and includes everything needed to bolt up to your off road vehicle. I've used this winch more to pull others out but on several occasions I've had the need to pull me up large hills or out of several feet deep mud holes. Thanks for a solid dependable product!

It fitted in well to my canam but does not have as much power that the original warn 3000. it's good for the price and does the job
